    अपने शब्दों की शक्ति पहचानें | Mind Your Words, Master Your Life | (By Sirshree)

A spiritual warrior has the power of words. If the tongue is the horse and the words its jockey, then a well-trained jockey will always be victorious. A spiritual warrior has mighty power in his words and deep devotion in his heart. He also has the ability to control how others' words affect him. What effect do the negative words people use, have on you? Some people find it difficult to get over the things that were said to them in their childhood. If someone is called an unwanted child during their childhood, that thought becomes a conviction and works like black magic even after the person has grown up. Similarly if a girl is repeatedly told that she is ugly, she grows up believing it and eventually ends up ruining her life. We need to learn how to not let negative words affect us. When a doctor says that a certain disease is incurable, it has an adverse effect on the patient’s mind-set. Doctors need to frame their communicate more effectively to be careful not to convey negativity and instead say that, “This disease is as yet incurable in my particular line of expertise”. The fact is that every disease on this planet is curable and the cure is present within oneself. We need to be consciously aware of the words we use, as we may even attract diseases through them. People can be categorised into two types, those who are Spiritual warriors and those who live in illusion. The spiritual warriors have the wisdom to focus only on the intentions behind the words used, whereas the ones who live in illusion lack that wisdom and focus on the literal words. One must always focus on then intentions. Negatives words cannot affect us unless we permit them to do so. The tongue of a spiritual warrior always speaks sweet words and is indifferent to tastes. If he hurts someone, he will also patch it up with positive words to pacify the hurt. To ensure we use the right words, we must consciously observe the words use throughout the day and contemplate upon which ones need to be corrected. In addition to this training the spiritual warrior also learns to adds discipline to his words. Finally when he is fully trained, every word he speaks becomes a prayer. The ones who live in illusion need to understand that words are just a medium for transferring intentions and wisdom. They are like an ice-cream candy’s stick. The focus should be on the ice-cream and not the stick. Once we’re done eating ice-cream we discard the stick, not keep it as a souvenir. If we are able to balance the intention, everything else gets balanced. When we balance our intentions, the unwanted communications, gossips and cheap talks are drained out, leading us to developing a habit of not speaking ill of others. Every time we speak ill of someone, we create a karmic bondage with them. Unknowingly we go about creating such bondages with people around us and wind up get entangled in them ourselves. We have to learn to break all karmic bondages binding us down, however small they may be.

[HINDI] Self Awareness Meditation (सेल्फ-जागृती ध्यान) ~ by Sirshree

Self-Awareness Meditation It is common to sit in meditation. However, one must learn to stand, walk and run as well in meditation. In a meditative state, all activities happen effortlessly. Call it meditation or inner silence. It is the same. When it is observed from different viewpoints, different words are used to describe it.When it is seen as a whole it is described as Meditation. When we experience its depth, it is described as Silence. When awareness becomes aware of itself the result is inner silence. When attention is on external things or in the present moment then it is awareness. When sunlight comes in light of itself, it becomes a bright light. Consciousness needs to awaken in its own light. If awareness or consciousness is not aware about itself then it is not self-meditation. It is mere witnessing of the body and mind. Those who understand will know clearly what pure consciousness feels like. Those who do not understand it yet, will certainlyexperience a eureka effect someday if they keep listening and practicing. At that point you would understand all that has been conveyed all along about inner peace and silence. For consciousness to shine in its own light, it needs help from the body-mind mechanism. Body mind mechanism is a helpful friend. However, body mind mechanism could also become a traitor, if it is not trained and continues to indulge in its patterns and tendencies such as greed, lust, anger, worry, hatred, jealousy, boredom etc. As long as the mind is engaged in these tendencies, the ultimate life purposeof stabilizing in the experience of The Self would not be possible. Not many people have their body mind mechanisms supporting them as a helpful friend? If your body-mind mechanism is not your true helpful friend at this time, you can still make it a helpful friend. No matter what the state of the body mind mechanism is at this time, it can still help you. If there is no understanding, then whatever it does could be a hindrance in knowing the Self. If there are tendencies and patterns in the body mind mechanism, if it is not disciplined, if it engages in lust and attachment, the body becomes a traitor. Give your body mind mechanism true love. The Self(Consciousness) will want to give it true love. Consciousness likes to associate with body mind mechanisms that are free from tendencies, that are filled with bright love, that have a thirst for final Truth. Consciousness likes to associate with enlightened masters, where it is easy to experience itself. If such body mind mechanisms are not available, then The Selfcreates those bodies by giving them self-experience. The role of an enlightened Master is the same - to help other body mind mechanisms become free of tendencies and full of self-awareness by walking the same path that HE walked. Even if this looks difficult, nature creates opportunities for more body mind mechanisms to become free of tendencies and stabilize in The Self. This is part of the divine play. With this understanding, continue meditating without thoughts or chasing the thoughts. Stay in the present moment. Your focus must be on Tejasthan (your heart or feeling center, not the physical heart). If you wander in your head, ask your awareness to come back to your heart center. If the mind still wanders, askthe mind, “Who is meditating?” When you ask thisquestion, all delusional thoughts- thoughts that arise from preconceived notions, false beliefs, old patterns and tendenciesbegin to vanish. Only thoughts of self-experience remain or there is only bright silence. In meditation, you are GOD. You are freedom – the one who sets oneself free. Aham Brahmasmi -Whose actions arise only from the Source, the Truth. The ‘I am’ ness where the ‘I’ or egodissolves and ‘universal I’ prevails. Before you open your eyes after meditating, remind yourself the state you experienced in meditation, the understanding you experienced while in the meditative state, so you do not get lost in the delusional world once you open your eyes. The understanding you gain in meditation does not get lost.Remain in self-awareness even while performing your daily routine. If you forget, remind yourself the Truth. Ask yourself often during the day, what role did you enter into now? Ask yourself every hour, “Who am I now?” Become aware of what happens that leads you to forget your true nature. Once this continuous self-enquiry becomes a habit, you will experience your true identify. You will remember who you are, before and after completing any activity. It will become a part of your being. You will stabilize in meditation. This is true or impersonal service.

[HINDI] How to Dissolve the Real Ego [PART 1]: What is the Real Ego and How is it Born (by Sirshree)

This is a story of those times (hypothetically) or rather an analogy or example of those times when the bleating of goats sounded as "Tae Tae" instead of "Mae Mae" (the sound "Mae Mae", onomatopoeically, is considered to be the general sound of a bleating goat). So bleating goats sounded like "Tae Tae" in those times and they were very happy then. There was no need for such self realization workshops for in those times everyone was content and at peace with themselves. And then a baby goat was born, the kid was very weak. All of you will acknowledge the fact that a weak child requires special care and attention. All the requirements of such a child are fulfilled easily, without the child having to crave for it. Sitting at home he gets all that he desires for. Same was the case with this weak kid; unlike the other kids, he got milk and grass sitting at home without having to venture out, for he was weak. Now gradually the kid starts growing up and as he grows a thought starts taking root in him, a thought which is much different from the thoughts of the other kids. All of you will know how a single thought defines a man's fate, how a single thought can either cause pain and sorrow or relieve one from his misery. How does a thought spring in one's mind? From what understanding does it spring? Seeing what and hearing what does a thought takes root? What feeling or belief causes a thought to get incepted in the mind? What knowledge or experience causes such an inception in the mind? The thought is a reflection of your understanding about your life's experiences and feelings. It is your inner state, that determines the creation of thoughts in your mind. And if you are not able to be happy then it must be that your perspective towards your thoughts was not correct. You must have seen fireworks shoot up in the sky during Diwali (the Indian Festival of lights, this festival celebrates the victory of good over bad by bursting crackers and fireworks). How do you see those fireworks? You see them bursting in the sky, they burst and fuse in the sky, amalgamate with the sky without leaving any trace of their origin and leaving no identification of their own, they do not stick to you rather they blend totally in the sky. Seeing such firework gives you pleasure; leaves a pleasant impression on your mind. But if they stick to you and burst in your hands then they leave an unpleasant impression on you, it gives you pain and leaves a scar from the burn. After your hands have been burnt if you ask 'why do I get these unpleasant feelings about fireworks?' like one always says, 'why do I get unpleasant feelings because of thoughts?' then you will be told that you have been unable to celebrate Diwali properly; you have forgotten how to burst crackers. Now that we have grown up, we have forgotten how fireworks appear in the sky; we have forgotten how we used to enjoy seeing those fireworks in our childhood. As we don't get identified with crackers and enjoy the firework, we shall not get identified with our thoughts too. The festival (Diwali) comes and reminds you how to live life, how to celebrate it; we must celebrate it in such a manner that every day in our lives is like Diwali (the festival of lights). Every thought of "I" is like that cracker, we could see that rise and fuse in the sky of consciousness. If we understand the true essence of the festival and learn to celebrate in the real sense then every day will become Diwali for us, i.e., every day will be as euphoric as the celebration of a festival. This is what is meant by being able to burst fireworks properly. Coming back to the story of the weak kid; we already know that the kid started feeling special and aloof from others and started bleating as "Mae Mae". Well, "Mae "in Hindi means "I"; so this "Mae Mae" bleating of the kid has an ironic undertone of the kid developing a feeling of being special and separate from others. This feeling of being separate is the "real ego". Everyone took great care of the kid because it was weak, but so much of extra attention made the kid feel that it is something special. The kid failed to understand that it was getting all this attention due to his shortcomings; instead it started feeling as a V.I.P. (started feeling very special).
