Divorced Not Divided

EmyD Media

DIVORCED NOT DIVIDED is a podcast that creates conversation around re-imagining a relationship with your former spouse after divorce, under healthy circumstances. It asks the controversial question- “Is there a positive way to heal and reconstruct a new relationship built around common values and goals such as friendship and co-parenting?” We believe the answer is “yes, and…” This podcast series is hosted by us both, Nathan Burkart and Megan Phillips, a real-life divorced couple, who are working on rebuilding a relationship as co-parents and friends. Our aim is not to celebrate divorce, but to positively navigate the journey as we explore how to effectively communicate, raise two children together, begin “re-entering” the dating world, and remember that although we are divorced, we do not have to be divided. DISCLAIMER: There are situations where co-parenting isn’t possible due to several factors such as a history of abuse, neglect, substance use, and other barriers. Our aim is not to encourage divorcees with these circumstances to seek our methods. This is a lifestyle podcast and OUR story, not professional therapeutic advice. New episodes are available every Monday at 7am CST. You can find us and further connect with us here: Instagram: @divorcednotdivided Facebook: Divorced Not Divided Website (Coming Soon!)
