Introducing Why Winning Didn't Fix Me: The Truth About Pain | Kevin Love from The School of Greatness. Follow the show: The School of Greatness Kevin Love has an NBA championship ring, five All-Star selections, and an Olympic gold medal. He also had a panic attack that changed everything. In this conversation, he gets radically honest about what it means to carry anxiety, rage, and childhood wounds into a life that looks like success from the outside. He talks about nine years of estrangement from his parents, the reconciliation that came just before his father died, and what becoming a father himself has taught him about what it means to finally become a man. What comes through most is this: the things you don't say will find a way out. Kevin built a career on channeling pain into performance, and now he's doing the harder thing; learning to actually heal. His Kevin Love Fund is bringing emotional language into classrooms so the next generation of kids doesn't have to wait until their 30s to learn what they're feeling.   This is a conversation about athletic mortality, grief, fatherhood, and what it looks like to build a life that matches the work you've done inside. Colin Cowherd Podcast - Sixers Upset Celtics, LeBron Finds A Way To Win, Wolves Are Underrated, Nuggets Need To Re-Tool

Colin’s joined by Jason Timpf, host of “Hoops Tonight” to break down the NBA playoffs. They start with the Celtics being upset by the 76ers and they discuss Boston’s dependence on their “system”, why that system fell apart when Jayson Tatum can’t play, and why Joel Embiid created massive problems for the Celtics defensively (3:00). They also  preview the upcoming series between the Knicks and Sixers (15:30).  They move to the western conference and Colin argues the Lakers win over the Rockets put the exclamation point on the argument that LeBron is better than Kevin Durant, and the series showed the gap between the two is bigger than ever (24:45).  They pivot to the Timberwolves knocking off the Nuggets, and they debate whether we’ve been underrating the Wolves team & organization for years (35:30), and whether a young & inexperienced Spurs team can be trusted in the postseason (39:30).  Colin argues the Nuggets need to shake things up and make some major moves in order to get over the hump and Jason suggests they look into acquiring CJ McCollum in order to move off Jamal Murray and finding an athletic forward to fill the role a younger Aaron Gordon filled (43:30).
