Ep 24 - Forgive Ourselves

Have you been called a liar? It’s not very pleasant to hear. God wouldn’t like it if we called Him a liar especially when God is the fullness of truth. If we claim that we are without sin, the Truth is not within us; if we do so we are calling God a liar. Oftentimes, we find ourselves encountering the judgment of man; we forget that we have received the mercy of God. Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we receive the mercy of God, not once but several times. The forgiveness of God gives us the courage to forgive ourselves. This same courage allows us to forgive others. Ep 10 - Consequences of Actions

Do we listen to God rather than men? In this episode, Frances Hogan revisits the first three plagues, highlighting how they served as both signs and punishments from God. As the study progresses, the focus shifts to the second round of plagues, where again, two signs are followed by a punishment. This pattern repeats in the third set of plagues as well. Through all the plagues a clear distinction is made between the people of Egypt and the chosen people, while showcasing God's Omnipotence with each successive plague. Whether it's the devastation inflicted upon livestock or crops, the impact is confined solely to the land of Egypt, while the land of Goshen, where the Israelites reside, remains untouched. It's crucial to recognize that the ten plagues inflicted upon Egypt were not necessary. At any moment, Pharaoh had the opportunity to heed God's call, prompting divine intervention to cease. However, it was Pharaoh's stubbornness, hardened heart, and reluctance to cooperate with God that compelled the progression of each subsequent plague. Despite initially acknowledging the supremacy of God over the Egyptian pantheon, Pharaoh's persistence in defying divine instruction perpetuated the cycle of affliction. This underscores the tragic irony of Pharaoh's actions: while recognizing God's authority, he ultimately sins by persisting in his obstinance and refusal to comply with God's will. Ep 14 - The Night of Death and Life

Andre and Angele Regnier are the Co-Founders of Catholic Christian Outreach CCO, a university student movement engaged in and dedicated to evangelization. They challenge students to live the fullness of the Catholic faith with a strong emphasis on becoming leaders in the renewal of the world. In 2015, Andre and Angele received the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice medal awarded by Pope Francis for distinguished service to the church. Andre grew up in a Catholic family but he wandered away from the faith; he had a desire for the faith to be relevant and real in his life. In 1981, he wanted to get back to the faith so, he went to Mass. Here, he experienced something extraordinary - the love of God poured into his heart and he never looked back. While Andre was the “cool guy”, Angele was doing the opposite. She was an Evangelical rooted in her faith. It was in their last year of university that they met and came alive in their faith. Within less than a year of meeting each other, they got married and started a campus ministry to empower students to become leaders in their faith. Chevalier Cyril John was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1982 and called to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal leadership in 1991, he has served as the Coordinator of the National Intercession Network and Chairman of the Indian National Service Team. He played a major role in promoting, strengthening, and consolidating the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in India and throughout the Asian region. Chevalier Cyril also coordinates the Prophetic Intercession training course organized by CHARIS. He is the author of several books, some of which have been translated into as many as 16 languages. Pope Francis awarded him the title of Chevalier, (Knight of the Order of St. Gregory the Great) the fourth highest Papal order given to lay people for their outstanding service to the church. Cyril John also served as joint secretary and chief of protocol in the Indian parliament. When the Catholic Charismatic Movement arrived in India, Chevalier Cyril John had a lukewarm response to the movement. In 1992, he participated in a retreat that gave an “ignition” to his spirituality. In 1993, a residential retreat he attended in Kerala provided the kindling that would light his heart on fire for the Lord.
