An Analogue Bubblebath

Welcome to the December pod. We're in Copenhagen reminiscing electronic music of the 90s. The housy, the melodic, the emotional, the sassy and all together a pretty warm sounding atmosphere. We start out with wet dreams and dreamlike states of mind. I dream of becoming who I truly am, it seems like we sometimes search forever, ready to go over the edge to find out more until no partial. Searching is also living and obviously once in a while, this living requires an analogue bubblebath and a domina atmosphere. Da 'Bøssepesten' kom til Danmark

Episode Notes I dette fjerde og sidste afsnit taler vi om, hvordan man tacklede sygdommen politisk, og hvilke behandlingsmæssige tilbud som sundhedsvæsnet fik etableret. Hvad er et kondom egentlig, og hvordan fik man gjort det såkaldte "kondombudskab" sexet? På besøg i studiet er tidligere speciallæge og forfatter til bogen 'Bøssepesten' Jan Fouchard, som helt inde fra maven af AIDS krisen kan fortælle om, hvad der skete, da HIV kom til Danmark Psychopathia Sexualis er en podcast skabt til udstillingen af samme navn på Overgaden (13.08-10.10 2021), og er produceret af Jan Høgh Stricker og Kasper Vang fra The Lake Radio. For alle der ka' li' upålidelig ring-ind-radio (og gadesang)

Vi ofrer de første minutter af programmet til platformsguderne. Vi adlyder kedsomhedens guder. De er stærkere end os. Men vi er klogere og noget mere talstærke. Sammenholdet bygger i høj grad på en uspecifik kærlighed til det brogede musikområde, der er langhåret musik. Såkaldt "hippie-musik". Vi lader os tryllebinde af den langhårede musik, når vi tager første spadestik til et mixbånd med langhåret dansksproget hippie-musik. Du skulle tage at være med og sende alle dine musiktips til hallo@hallohvemerdet.dk. Vi arbejder med en bred definition af langhåret dansk-sproget hippie-musik. Vi er mere optagede af musikkens attitude og dens møde med verden end nogle bestemte politiske holdninger eller sociale grupperings-forhold. Kan det evt. tages videre så vi også undersøger i hvilket omfang de 1% rigeste menneskers rigdom kommer til dem af retfærdig, etisk forsvarlig vej, forestillinger om meritokrati, hvem har fortjent hvad? Den socialistiske tøjvirksomhed “Comrade Workwear” har fået lukket sit online-betalingssystem og alle SoMe-konti lukket (af flere omgange), efter de forsøgte at publicere et sæt spillekort med verdens rigeste direktører. Denne ‘de-platforming’ af Comrade Workwears virksomhed er er brud på ytringsfriheden og et resultatet af et samarbejde ml. private virksomheder (betalingstjeneste, SoMe-platforme) politiet og den amerikanske stat. En udvikling det bliver interessant at følge. Læs mere her. Måske kan spillekorts-formatet som kommunikationsform være til inspiration for ‘lytternes reklamebureau’. Listen to interviews with performance artist Cassie Augusta Jørgensen and the collaboration of electronic duo Lyra Valenza with visual artist Signe Dige. We invite two of the younger female artists playing this year's festival, Deb Foam and Andrea of the band Snuggle, for a talk about sexism in the music industry. And we also throw in an interview with Danish/Bosnian rising star Ilma as well as a bunch of lovely music and recommendations for the festival program.

Spellcaster

In this episode, we get to know the world of composer, musician, producer and vocalist Holger Hartvig, also known as Spellcaster as well as Anybard, and Anybardinthegrass. Hartvig shares with us some of their inspirations including Robert Ashley, Cornelius Cardew, and the soundtrack of the video game Heroes of Might and Magic III. They open up about their process for creating characters for their storytelling, playing with fictional narratives in their music and discuss their use of roleplaying and game systems as tools for composing, imagining characters' stories, and their performances. These games and systems have allowed Hartvig to design their own musical frameworks and create fragmented soundscapes tied together with their vocals and narration. Through this experimentation, Hartvig's music evokes a sense of fantasy and brings audiences deeper into the world of their characters.
