    The Catholic News outlet "where peter is" published an article last year written by Paul Fahey in which he argues that the church's teaching on the headship of men in marriage has been effectively abrogated or superseded by more recent popes, namely Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis.     Sola Scriptura's Achilles heel

    One of the most frequent critiques of sola scriptura made by catholic apologists is the problem of the protestant canon. Catholic apologists argue that without some sort of infallible authority outside of scripture, you cannot be certain of the scriptural authenticity of any given book of the bible, which in turn undermines the authority of scripture as a whole. In response to this criticism Protestant apologists have offered three main arguments intended to answer this objection, and in this video I hope to explain why I think these answers ultimately don’t hold up.     Should Catholics pray the Luminous mysteries of the rosary?

    In 2002 Pope John Paul the 2nd issued the encyclical ROSARIUM VIRGINIS MARIAE in which he proposed 5 new mysteries for the rosary which he called the “mysteries of light” or Luminous mysteries, these mysteries were quickly adopted by most catholics, but some traditionalists have argued that Catholics actually shouldn’t pray the rosary with these new mysteries, sticking instead to the older Joyful, sorrowful, and glorious mysteries.     Joseph Smith's false prophecy?

    In this episode, we discuss an alleged revelation received by Joseph smith in 1832 and recorded in D&C 84:3-5 concerning the construction of a temple in western Missouri. Some modern apologists argue that the revelation was not a prophecy, or was absolved, or was fulfilled in 1836, but this contradicts what the early apostles appointed by Joseph Smith claimed on this matter.
