Episode 103 - Finding Your Spiritually Identity Through Healing and Reflecting.

In this episode, I talk about how to go about finding your spiritual identity through healing and self reflection. The one thing I’ve learned through this journey of my healing recovery spiritually is that I have been about things completely wrong when it comes to being a person of God. This isn’t about the identity or title of whatever your religion is, it’s about being able to practice what you preach when it comes to your actions and behavior when it comes to that religion. There are a lot of people that claim that they are different types of religions, but they do not practice what they preach. There are a lot of pastors, preachers, and priest that are not practicing what they preach. for me, it took my medical situation to happen for me to really understand my spiritual healing and recovery. And self reflecting, while I was alone by myself with no one. By being alone, I was able to find my spiritual identity, which led me to finding out who I am as a person. It wasn’t an easy journey, but it was worth it because I discovered so many things about myself through spirituality that I did not know about myself. So I hope this episode helps some of you were going through spiritual identity, crisis, or spiritual warfare find your spiritual identity as far as who you truly are, and what your purpose, journey, path, and what it is that you’re meant to do on this earth. Episode 100- My Conversation with Jobert E. Abueva about The Janus Plan: Beating the Procrastination Trap.

In this episode, I had a conversation with Jobert E. Abueva about The Janus Plan: Beating the Procrastination Trap. We spoke about procrastination traps that keep people from reaching their goals, moving on from negative situations, overcoming low self-esteem, self-love, self-respect, self-worth, self-value, self-confidence, and believing in yourself when no one else does, and lowering yourselves to build other people up. When many people think about procrastination, they think about people who are lazy and have no inspiration. He breaks down the Janus Plan when it comes to beating the procrastination traps that are keeping you from reaching your goals and the path, purpose, and journey that you are meant to be on. He spoke on mindful cleansing & global rituals when it comes to detoxing the mind from the past and things that are keeping you stagnant, stuff, and procrastination. We spoke on why people's New Year's resolutions are broken by February. How to go about overcoming fear and insecurities that keep you procrastinating and quitting? How can our relationship with our parents be the cause of not doing the things that you can actually do, due to making you feel less than what you are, and breaking your self-esteem and self-worth? A little about Jobert E. Abueva: he is an MBA, TEDx speaker ("Beyond Resolutions: The Art of Beginning with Intention"), and award-winning author whose work has appeared in The New York Times and The Philadelphia Inquirer. Jobert is warm, articulate, and deeply relatable. Instead, he developed a flexible, 6-step framework—inspired by Janus, the two-faced Roman god of thresholds and transitions—to help people reflect on the past, clear mental and physical clutter, and build sustainable life momentum without punitive pressure. This was a great conversation, and hopefully there will be a second conversation coming soon. I hope you guys enjoy the episode.  Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/finding-your-inner-peace-and-tranquility--5271234/support.

Episode 99 - Finding Your Inner Peace And Tranquility Through Spiritual Healing and Recovery.

In this episode, I talk about finding your inner peace and tranquility through your healing and recovery through the spiritual warfare that you are facing every day as a person of God or whatever your spirituality and religion is. It is not easy being a child of the higher power, and trying to do the right thing every day, without some type of distractions, pain, suffering, trauma, destruction, and chaos that go on that makes you feel like the higher power is not with you through these journeys that you’re facing. I wanted to talk about what I have been going through when it comes to my own spiritual warfare when it comes to my health and wellness internally and externally. I’ve been going through some health issues and I’m realizing that my mind and my body are just not connecting when it comes to what is best for me. And how I have to build a trust between my mind and my body and all aspects when it comes to healing and recovery? And the one thing about spiritual warfare is that there’s no winning when it comes to negativity. And that is something that I had to face. Which is why I don’t deal with negativity at this point as of now. I accept things for what they are, and not what I want them to be. I don’t worry about rejection of whether somebody except or chooses me anymore. I just live my life based on the path, journey, and purpose that I am meant to be on. And I walked to the beat of my own drum versus someone else’s drum. And I hope this podcast episode gives you inspiration on why you should walk on your own spiritual journey with a higher power leading, guiding, insisting you to become the person that it feels you need to be. Episode 98-1- Part One of My Pre-conversation with Vincent Van den Broeck about His Adversity From a Near-Fatal Scooter Accident.

In this episode, it is part 1 of part 1 of the conversation I had with Vincent Van den Broec, where we continued our discussions about the near-fatal scooter accident that could have unalived him and could have left him paralyzed. The Zoom recording was divided into 2 parts. We talked about how he overcame his diagnosis through determination, drive, dedication, and the will not to let what the doctors told him make him feel sorry for himself. We talked about how we self-sabotage ourselves by believing what others say negatively. We talked about the importance of the connection between the mind, body, and spirit as far as how we deal with pain, trauma, and suffering. We talked about how he could have given up and instead chose to fight his diagnosis, his wives, and his loved ones' support. We talked about how we can program the body to be on the same page as your mind as far as what it wants it to do. How the mind and body are not on the same page, how we are impacted and affected by our decisions, choices, actions, and behavior, and the consequences, repercussions, and karma that come with them. How he spent three weeks in a coma, had part of his skull removed, and had to relearn how to walk and talk from scratch. We also talk faith and second chances at life, and not waste your second chance at life. The psychological reality of that recovery, and what it did to his family watching from the outside, is raw in a way that will hit your listeners hard. What is important about his story is the fact that he doesn't believe trauma changed him. He believes it tested what was already there. Resilience isn't something you find in the dark, he says. You build it long before you need it. He is currently writing a book about his journey of adversity, healing, and recovery. It was a great and powerful conversation that made me have to post this conversation of faith, adversity, resilience, drive, and belief that led him to a full recovery. I hope you enjoy this conversation. Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/finding-your-inner-peace-and-tranquility--5271234/support.

Episode 97- My Pre-conversation with Ama K. Karikari About Silence Pain, Suffering, and Abuse.

In this episode, I had a pre-conversation with Ama K. Karikari about silence abuse, pain, and suffering when it comes to relationships, as far as family, romantic relationships, and friendships. She tells her story about what she experienced in her 15-year marriage and the silence abuse that she experienced during the marriage. We talked about the damage of silence when it comes to abuse, pain, and suffering from the people that you love. How can silence mean that you are allowing and giving permission for people to hurt, abuse, neglect, manipulate, and take advantage of you? How can silence be harmful to the point that it affects your self-esteem and how you see yourself? How did she overcome the silence abuse, and get out of the marriage? What was the breaking point that made her leave? How can silence be abusive, and no one think that it is abuse? A little about Ama: she is a TEDxGeorgeSchool speaker, author of Silenced to Soaring, transformational guide, attorney, and founder who helps women understand covert emotional harm and reconnect with their voice. Her perspective is shaped by work with women’s leadership, educational, and community audiences, along with studies at Harvard, Penn Law, and Wharton. It was a beautiful conversation that I wanted to share with my audience when it comes to overcoming adversity, pain, abuse, trauma, and suffering due to silence. The second part is coming soon. Episode 96- My Pre-conversation with Ezra Vancil about Spiritual Redemption, Addictions, and Forgiveness.

In this episode, I had a pre-conversation with Ezra Vancil about his redemption and forgiveness when it comes to him overcoming addiction, depression, a felony DWI, a broken marriage, and a season where I nearly ended my life. How is it now, 13 years of being sober, his marriage was restored, and I rebuilt my life slowly, through journals, poetry, discipline, faith, and honest work? How, like the story of Humpty Dumpty, he put himself back together again after falling off the wall? We talked about his life as a rock star when he was younger, ended up on drugs and alcohol. And was divorced twice. How people are quick to use your mistakes, flaws, imperfections, and weaknesses against you as a weapon? We talked about spiritual judgment when it comes to the way that people in the Bible were judged, who did nothing but what was right. We also discussed love and being liked addiction as far as what people are willing to do for it, and what will happen negatively that will destroy you. We also talked about the way that felons are judged and crucified for their past mistakes. Why are people always holding people's past mistakes as a weapon against them? Why are people not allowed to change for the better just because they have made a mistake or multiple mistakes in their past? We talked about how our children, friends, and families are impacted and affected by addictions. We talked about suicide and what happens if and when we survive it. What leads to suicide, and no will to live? We really dove deeply into redemption and overcoming addictions. It was a great conversation that I had to let you guys hear. Part 2 is coming soon.
