2021 (What kind of day will it be?)

Episode 9 is the final one of Good Night and Good Luck, the radio program of Università Bocconi Television and Culture's students produced in partnership with Radio Bocconi. It is composed by several of the voices that have contributed, for weeks, to the final outcome of this project, and it analyses different topics and arguments regarding the 2020 US Elections, and its aftermath, mostly in form of round tables and interactive talks. It is the proper and fitting final episode to a three-months journey in covering a year like no other. In this episode: - What the 2020 Elections taught us about US Politics and Media - The relationship between the US and Big Tech companies - The US Government and Culture - US and 'us': relationships with UK, Germany, France and Italy - Soft stories we missed - The environment issue - Life after the Presidency for Donald Trump - The challenges of Joe Biden's administration Episode Hosted by: Andrea Quartarone, Ennio Terrasi Borghesan, Lavinia Cichella, Alessia Carretti, Giulia Rapetti, Raykhona Rustamova, Alex Railean, Maria Vittoria Maccarone, Simona Monzani Kulinkovich, Anita Monaco, Ioanna Tatsi, Iulia Savoiu, Lorenzo Fornaseri, Martina Chiappini, Francesco Toma, Marianna Manoukian, Lidia Schwarz, Anna Padovan, Sofia Rosti, Alessia Ginghiali, Rebecca Morganti, Camilla Pelosi, Patrik Lamberg, Elena Chiarini, David Cortes Farrujia, Imane El Outati. Reality Check

Episode 8 of Good Night and Good Luck, the radio program of Università Bocconi Television and Culture's students produced in partnership with Radio Bocconi, is based in a moment in time where its title, “Reality Check”, seems extremely fitting. While Americans gather to celebrate the Thanksgiving festivities and States are certifying Joe Biden’s win in the 2020 US Elections, COVID-19 third wave in the country is appearing to be the strongest and the deadliest in this tough year. A lot of the episode focus on the pandemic and the US measures to face it. There is also room for further analysis on the 2020 Elections, thanks in part to the opinions of Mr Connor Metz, a spokesperson for Republican Voters Against Trump, with some look into the future with the first profiles of the soon-to-be Biden Administration. In this episode: - COVID-19 pandemic in the US, the situation and the single states reaction to the third wave - The first virtual G-20 and President Trump’s behavior within the meeting - History and legacy of Presidential Transitions of powers - The story of Republican Voters Against Trump - Trump’s legal challenges to contest the outcome of the Elections - Joe Biden’s first choices for his Administration - Parler, a “safe” space for (conservative) political talks Episode hosted by Andrea Quartarone, Ennio Terrasi Borghesan, Lidia Schwarz, Camilla Pelosi, Simona Monzani Kulinkovich, Alessia Quercini, Ester Salvatore, Giulia Rapetti Mogol, Lavinia Cichella, Anna Padovan, Sofia Rosti, Davide Stagi, Alessia Ginghiali, Maria Vittoria Maccarone. Special Guest: Connor Metz from Republican Voters Against Trump
