From Moses to Buddha, men who experience the supernatural are framed as divinely appointed leaders with a sacred calling. Meanwhile, women with spiritual insight are reduced to ugly, evil, cauldron-stirring witches.  In this episode, we unpack the imagery we were fed as kids — from Sunday school to storybooks — and how the Bible itself informs some of these archetypes. Why are we baptized by the hands of a man if we were already born through the womb of a woman? Why are we told woman was made from man’s rib in Genesis, but in reality, every single man who has ever lived was born from a woman’s body?     The Light Is Coming To Take Back Everything the Darkness Stole
