The Sociological Aspect: Neighborhood Poverty, Race, and Health Outcomes

In this episode we'll take a look at how limited access to green spaces (such as parks) and healthy food choices in high poverty neighborhoods has potential health impacts on those who live there. We also look at how those of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of color) community are at a higher risk to live in high poverty neighborhoods and consequently, have a greater risk for these potential health outcomes.
