    328: The Commercial Hotel

    The episode where we share our recent investigation of the Historic Commercial Hotel in Osceola, MO. If you live in Missouri, you know exactly where this small town is because of the famous cheese store. Welcome to the Midwest. This hotel has history dating back to the Civil War when Kansas and Missouri had some beef with each other. But it’s okay, they can be friends now, trust us.  Anyway, although we did not get to investigate at this hotel, we did get to stay the night and have some fun with Rasputin dances, card games, and of course, shenanigans.     323: Adams and the Murder Squad

    The episode where Lindsey brings us a true crime of an infamous case that changed the way physicians practice medicine. This is John Bodkin Adams, a British physician who was accused of murdering his patients, in what was at that time called the murder trial of the century. Was it gross incompetence or serial mercy killer? It is still argued over, but the facts are that this case changed protections around physicians. But there’s lots of inappropriate boundaries, eating cake in surgery, and some all around weirdness.
