    Which Wests Tigers Do We Get This Friday Night?

    The Wests Tigers can't show up with the same attitude that they had last week against the Dragons, surely? It's going to be a big task at Campbelltown Stadium on Friday night against the New Zealand Warriors. Despite the visitors sitting in a lofty position on the NRL ladder, some optimism is bubbling to the surface among a couple of members of the Wests Tigers Podcast team.     It can be a hard run following a football team, but we can't help but think that sometimes it's just that bit tougher being a Tiger.  The 24-10 loss to the Dragons on Saturday afternoon has been described by some Wests Tigers fans as a new low for the club. That's a big call after three straight wooden spoons and a few record floggings in recent years. Nevertheless, losing to a team that has won only one game all year, and doing it in the style that we did, has left many of us really struggling.     The Wests Tigers have fumbled and bumbled their way to a six-point loss against the Knights in Newcastle. With the home side seemingly begging to be beaten, Wests Tigers failed to take any second-half opportunities and came away with a win that probably puts a full stop on our finals hopes for yet another season.     Wests Tigers have again suffered injuries, with another two players set to miss game time, a theme that has run through so much of this season. Kicking off the season in such style, almost every match that the Wests Tigers have played this season has seen at least one key player come away injured, and this seems to be the primary reason why missing the finals again looks a real chance. Is it simply bad luck? Is it a curse? Or is this something that is a result of us being improperly prepared for the rigours of NRL 2026?
