Katie Wade-Neser: Helping Little Children Come Unto Him

For five years now, Katie Wade-Neser has been sharing suggestions and ideas for helping parents teach Come, Follow Me to even the tiniest children. She does not feel the idea for the Instagram account or even many of the ideas she has shared have come from her, but instead from a loving Heavenly Father who loves His children. Deeper Learning: The Sacred Privilege of the Temple Garment with Melinda Brown

We've all noticed an increasing emphasis on covenants and temples! In April general conference the word "covenants" was used 194 times! There were 15 new temples announced, bringing the worldwide count to 350. And the First Presidency updated the temple recommend interview questions and issued a new statement on wearing the temple garment. It feels momentous! But there hasn't always been a lot of dialogue around this subject. In this episode, Michelle Torsak, Director of Content for Deseret Book, and podcast producer Sarah Collins have asked Melinda Brown, author and teacher, to join with her expertise. Mindy believes that when we understand the significance and purpose of covenants and the temple garment—the WHY—it makes honoring them a joy. Joy Brings Us Mission and Purpose with Tammy Uzelac Hall

We hope this conversation will set you up well for the new year ahead. The Magnify theme for these next two months is joy and more specifically showing our joy. Harry Emerson Fosdick said, "You can know a real Christian, when you see him [or her], by his buoyancy." As we set out to be women who magnify the Lord, one way we can do that is by living buoyantly and showing by example that God's plan works. As we were thinking about where to start the conversation, we thought of President Nelson's invitation to be women who have a bedrock understanding of the doctrine of Jesus Christ, including understanding what the scriptures say about joy. John Koelliker: The Faith of a Father

John Koelliker is a young dad doing his best to care for his family while leading a growing startup as its founder and CEO. When Loved Ones Step Away from the Church: Finding True Hope and Peace

A topic that is on many of our minds is knowing what to do when a child or someone we love takes a different path that leads them away from the Church. We are hopeful that this episode will help alleviate some of the pain and anxiety that we feel when this happens. No matter your family circumstances, this is an important conversation in our efforts to be peacemakers. Marie Vischer Elliott: Surviving a WWII Concentration Camp to Discover Hope

As a little girl, Marie Vischer Elliott spent three years in a concentration camp under unimaginable conditions. She remarkably survived but her little brother, Georgie, died shortly after they were released due to what he endured in the camp. Years later, as a young mother, Marie was introduced to the gospel of Jesus Christ, which not only helped her heal from what she experienced during the war but also gave her hope of seeing her little brother again. Stephanie and Claire Nielson: The Resilient Bond of a Mother and Daughter

When Claire Nielson was 8 years old, her parents were involved in a small plane accident that left both her mom and dad badly injured, including burns that covered 80 percent of her mother's body.
