If you’ve ever read The People’s History of the United States by Howard Zinn, then you are probably familiar with the point of view presented by this podcast. It takes some time for Americans to grasp that the whitewashed version of history we were taught in school was nothing more than a farce meant to hide the horrors that the ‘spreading of American democracy’ wrought upon the rest of the globe.
This podcast seeks to look at conflicts created by the American system through the eyes of those who were directly affected and how our current point in history is a direct result of these events. Noah and Brandon do a very good job of collecting interviews with witnesses and authors, many of whom witnessed these events first hand. They are adept at highlighting the key elements of these events with an impartial analysis while also showing the grim realities inherent within them.
