    Take 10 with Tim – August 13, 2026 @ 3 pm ET/2 pm CT Microsoft Teams: 1.Let’s take a look at the standings. 2.All disappointing team (hitters) – my picks. Are these players you will target for next season or are you done? a.Catcher (1st catcher off the board) - Cal Raleigh - .159 BA, 12 home runs in 86 games b.1B - Vinnie P (10) - .232 BA, 6 home runs in 79 games c.2B – Jose Altuve (6) - .240 BA, 14 home runs, 2 SB in 96 games d.3B – Manny Machado (4) – 23 runs but a .215 BA. He does have a .229 BABIP. e.SS – Geraldo Perdomo (9) – After his 27-20-290 season, he’s hitting .244 with 9 home runs and 17 SB. His BABIP is .264 f.OF – Aaron Judge (1) – He played well in 59 games, but will turn 35 in April. g.OF – Jarren Duran (16) – He’s going to go 20-20 (17 HR and 17 SB), but it was expensive as he’s hitting .202 with a brutal .260 OBP. Plus, he’s sitting against lefties. h.OF – Chandler Simpson (41) – Dreams of stealing 60 bases are going to fall short – he has stolen 33 bases, but only scored 49 runs with no home runs. 3.I see where Bryce Harper had to DH for over the weekend because – wait for it – his knees were sore after playing the outfield. 4.Carson Whisenhunt pitched well on Tuesday – 5.2 IP, 4 hits, 1 ER, 2K/3BB – any interest? 5.In his last 9 starts, Eury Perez is pitching to a 2.00 ERA with 56K in 53 innings. He only has three wins, but in 6 of those starts, he’s gone at least 6 innings. He’s 23. a.He was a pass for you for next year a few weeks ago. Do you want to revisit? 6.With Devin Williams hitting the IL, Kodai Senga gets his first career save. The other threshold is 130 AB and 50 IP. 4.Jackson Jobe’s long awaiting return to the mound occurred on Saturday where he shoved it against the Giants – 5.0 IP, 1 hit, 4K/1BB with the win. He maxed out at 100.1 mph. 5.Traded starter’s first outing – some tough starts a.Tarik Skubal (LHP, LAD) – 6.0 IP, 4 hits, 2 ER, 6K/2BB – Loss b.Casey Mize (RHP, SD) – 3.1 IP, 9 hits, 8 ER – Loss c.Freddy Peralta (RHP, TB) – 3.2 IP, 9 hits, 7 ER d.Robbie Ray (LHP, SD) – 5.0 IP, 7 hits, 4 HR, 2K/5BB 6.The Athletics fired their General Manager, David Forst.     Fantasy Baseball Live – August 2, 2026 @ 2pm ET Segment 1 – We have some trades •The Dodgers acquire Tarik Skubal from the Tigers for RHP River Ryan, OF Zyhir Hope and RHP Brady Smith •The White Sox acquire Luis Castillo from the Mariners and pay his entire 2027 salary, the rest of 2026 and if he pitches 180 innings in 2027, his vested 2028 option. In return, the Mariners receive reliever Seranthony Dominguez, OF Nolan Jones, and Double-A catcher Boston Smith •The Braves acquired OF Lane Thomas, LHP Baily Falter from the Royals for minor league lefty pitcher Carter Holton and Triple-A right-handed pitcher Lucas Braun. •The Guardians and Brewers swapped players Saturday afternoon, with Cleveland acquiring OF Blake Perkins and RP Craig Yoho, and Milwaukee receiving catcher Bo Naylor and RP Codi Heuer. •The Pirates acquired Camilo Doval from the Yankees in exchange for Double A catcher Omar Alfonzo and 18 year old outfielder Luis Cruz. We will also talk about whether they are buyers or sellers and if sellers, who might get traded. a.American League b.National League 2.Trades so far a.Curtis Mead for Connelly Early – Well, that didn’t work out too well the Red Sox. He had two at-bats and then got hit in the wrist and will miss the rest of the season. The Nationals are still hopeful that Connelly gets back of the mound as soon as next week in a rehab start. i.Comments? b.The Rangers acquired Chase Silseth and Logan O’Hoppe for 19-year-old, 3B Angel Arredondo. i.Last year this might have been a big deal, but Logan O’Hoppe has been terrible this season – unrestorable. What happened? ii.What do you think of the deal? iii.I’m assuming the Angels are going to part with a lot of player. Your thoughts? 3.More players hit the IL a.Byron Buxton is hurt again. He just came back from the IL. Who gets his at-bats? b.Casey Schmitt is done for the season with a meniscus tear. Who gets his at-bats? c.Vinnie P is hurt again and it’s looking like a lost season for him. Who gets his at-bats? 4.You don’t typically hear managers tell the press that a Closer is out, but that’s what Torey Lovullo did on Wednesday. Who gets the save chances in Arizona and are you interested? 5.Spencer Jones with a big night on Wednesday – home run and stolen base. Nice timing and it makes me wonder if he gets moved for a piece at the deadline. a.Give me three young prominent players/prospects that get moved in deals by Monday – my three i.Zyhir Hope and River Ryan for Tarik Skubal ii.Jett Williams in Milwaukee – down season but the data still looks great on this guy. There’s so much excess that he can be moved. iii.Ryan Pepiot – If the Rays are serious, move an injured player for a healthy one. 6.What hitter are you targeting for this weekend’s FAAB? 7.What pitcher are you targeting for this weekend’s FAAB?

Segment 1 and 2 – Review the weekend games Additional Questions/Topics 1.Hunter Greene had a bad start on Saturday, and his velocity was a bit down as well. 5.1 IP, 6 ER, 3K/2BB – now with a 7.06 ERA. Not what we wanted! 2.Dylan Cease with another gem. A lot has been made about Cam Schlitter winning the CY Young, but Dylan Cease is right there. His wins are bit down because the Blue Jays can’t score runs, but your thoughts on his season. 3.Juan Soto hits the IL with a grade 2 calf strain. He might be out for a while. Thoughts on who gets his at-bats? 4.Bobby Witt Jr. is also out – any thoughts on who might be a waiver wire pickup for him? 5.There was a report out from Ken Rosenthal that American League teams are still not ready to make deals as many know there teams aren’t very good, but they say they are still in it. a.I think that’s true – is this good for baseball or not? 6.Jose Ramirez and Nick Kurtz are both back.     Fantasy Baseball Live – July 19, 2026 @ 2 pm ET Segments 1 and 2 – Review the Weekend Games Additional Questions/Notes 1.Shane Bieber – 6.0 IP, 3 hits, 0 ER, 6K/2BB. Still not throwing hard, but ok. He did pitch better in his last outing as well. Maybe, he’s improving??? What do you do here? 2.Esmerlyn Valdez with another home run – also Jared Jones looked great in his Saturday afternoon win against the Guards. You have to bear in mind the competition, but he did look very good. Thoughts on him for the ROS and long-term. a.Speaking of the Pirates, they promoted Khristian Curtis to be the bulk guy on Saturday night’s DH game. He was great and while his minor league season was a bit uneven – great in Double-A, so-so in Triple-A, he’s got good stuff. i.Does he get more chances this season? 3.Brandon Woodruff is undergoing season-ending shoulder surgery. This is not good as he’s had multiple shoulder surgeries over the past few years and just can’t seem to get healthy. In response, the Brewers acquired Lance McCullers from the Astros. Talk about somebody who can’t stay healthy. a.Thoughts on the McCullers? b.Do you think this is the Brewers “Big Move”, or will they do something else? 4.Stud updates a.Jose Ramirez is getting close and might skip a rehab assignment. b.Ronald Acuna should be ready to return sometime this upcoming week. c.Max Fried will have a rehab start this week d.Aaron Judge doesn’t appear close e.Will Smith might be back sometime late next month.
