    ▶︎ Japanese lessons⁠https://www.italki.com/en/teacher/8512356 こんにちは、さゆりです！今回のエピソードでは、「名前に使える漢字」のニュースを紹介します。実は日本では、子どもの名前に使える漢字が法律で決まっているんです。今年6月、法務省が「勒（ろく）」という字を1字追加し、名前に使える漢字はちょうど3,000字になりました。きっかけは、ある家族の出生届をめぐる裁判所の決定でした。ニュースによく出てくる「改正」「受理」という言葉や、日本の名前のルールについて、一緒に学びましょう！ Hello, I'm Sayuri! In this episode I introduce a news story about the kanji you're allowed to use in a Japanese name. In Japan, the characters parents may choose for their child are actually fixed by law. This June the Ministry of Justice added one more character, 勒 (roku), bringing the total to exactly 3,000. The change came out of a court decision over one family's birth notification.     こんにちは、さゆりです！今回のエピソードでは、値上げのニュースばかりの日本で見つけた、めずらしい「値下げ」のニュースを紹介します。コンビニ大手のローソンが、9月29日から手巻おにぎりを一律10円値下げすると発表しました。理由は、お米の値段が下がったことです。ニュースでよく使われる「値上げ」「値下げ」という言葉や、「手巻おにぎり」と「直巻おにぎり」の違いについても一緒に学びましょう！ Hello, I'm Sayuri! In this episode, I share a rare piece of "price cut" news from a Japan that's full of price increases. Lawson, one of Japan's biggest convenience store chains, announced that from September 29th it will lower the price of all its hand-wrapped onigiri by a flat 10 yen — and the reason is that the price of rice has come down.
