Tens of thousands gather in Delhi over voters removed from electoral roll

Protesters in Delhi waved flags and chanted "Save the vote, save the country" and "Vote thief, give up power". Emotional reunions as evacuees return to Ukraine

Families have been reunited in northern Ukraine after civilians were evacuated from the devastated Russian-occupied town of Oleshky. Some arrived on stretchers, having endured years of severe shortages of food and medicine. One woman said they had escaped from hell. The evacuation was made possible by a temporary ceasefire brokered with the involvement of US First Lady Melania Trump, who has expressed hope that it could pave the way for a lasting peace. Also on the programme: Britain's prime minister says he is open to calls for a formal apology for the country's role in the slave trade. We hear the arguments for and against the idea; and four volunteers emerge after spending 378 days in a simulated mission to Mars. We speak to a former NASA astronaut about the challenges of living in isolation. Hundreds on their way to a safer place to live in Ukraine

People evacuated from the devastated Russian-occupied city of Oleshky have arrived in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed. Residents of the frontline city had been trapped without food, water and electricity, with many resorting to cooking garden weeds to survive. The evacuees were taken out of Oleshky on Friday during a local ceasefire, brokered by US First Lady Melania Trump, before travelling through Russian occupied territory to southern Russia. Also on the programme: the US has agreed to sell Ukraine Patriot missiles, but what is behind America's shifting attitudes to Ukraine?; and another day of demonstrations in Paris as we speak to one of the founders of the Yellow Vest protest movement - to unearth their demands. On this special edition of Newshour, we preview the US midterms taking place next week. Unbelievably ignorant especially about Asia. Reporters don't even understand the language of the countries they reports from. Shame on you. A really arrogant host talks as if he is superior to other.
