Ten years. Ten years since 21-year-old Arizona native Chelsea Yasser was left for dead in a parking lot -- her last moments captured on security footage. Her killer, sitting in the driver's seat of a maroon van, has never been identified. Now, in a first for the Aurora (CO) Police Department, a podcast has been created to bring listeners inside the investigation, to help find Chelsea's killer, and to close a case that has haunted so many investigators over the years it has become known as The White Whale, a reference to the infamous foe of Captain Ahab in the classic novel 'Moby Dick."

    The Dark Red Van

    On May 15, 2016, 21-year-old Chelsea Marie Yasser arrives at a Burger King in Aurora, Colorado before disappearing from security camera view. Less than 30 minutes later, footage captures a violent struggle inside a dark red van in an adjacent parking lot. The footage shows Chelsea exiting the vehicle and collapsing.  Ten years later, her murder remains unsolved.
