    Episode #10 - Nick Messina

    Frankie and Mike speak with Nick Messina, better known as Sicilianu Di Montreal. The guys chat about his inspirations and the state of comedy during a very touchy 2020. Mike asks about what the challenges are about balancing social media, work, and family time and Frankie asks about how Nick went from selling cars to working in a hospital. Nick shares his insights into his favourite Sicilian words and phrases and teaches the guys some new slang words. The comedian talks about his many business ventures thanks to his new position in life and some causes that are close to his heart.     Episode #8 - Aiesha Robinson

    Aiesha Robinson speaks with Frank and Mike on this weeks episode. Aiesha is a model, motivational speaker, and the creator of Born to Rise. She recounts her childhood experiences of being bullied, becoming a bully, and ultimately feeling empathy for those she was harming. When Aisha discovered she had vitiligo, her life changed forever. She details some of the moments in her life were vitiligo made her feel like an outsider, made her feel ugly, made her feel “less black”, and almost caused her to take her own life. Turning her hardship into a positive message of self-love, Aiesha talks about how Born to Rise came to be and just how impactful it has become for youth in the community.     Episode #7 - Gabriele Iacampo

    Frank and Mike welcome Gabe Iacampo to the show this week. Gabe is a personal trainer and motivational speaker who promotes not only your physical well-being but how important your mental health is in helping you achieve your goals. The guys discuss the idea of masculinity as Gabe recounts his early struggles with body image as a teenager. When the talk turns to depression and anxiety, the trainer gives his thoughts on how sitting down with a psychologist literally saved his life. Gabe's many experiences in Africa and other exhilarating life events helped him realize the importance of living and building what he calls a "bulletproof resume". Finally, Gabe explains his connection with clients and how he uses his personal motivations and goals to help push them beyond their capabilities. After the conversation, the hosts discuss the impact Gabe's conversation has had on them and what they learned from the longest conversation on Keepin' It Frank yet.

    The guys sit down with Dwight Walton this week. Now a student supervisor working for an adult education centre, Dwight's professional career and personal life have gone through many hoops, both literally and figuratively. The man of the hour, speaks about his experience with racism, dealing with hardships, and overcoming obstacles. Frank and Mike highlight the importance of Dwight's stories and hash out the significance of perseverance and hard work.

    Episode #5 - David Traina

    David Traina, drummer for the Montreal-based band The Damn Truth, sits down with the guys to give us a glimpse into the life of a genuine rock star. Dave shares what it was like growing up learning to play the drums and how the band came to be. Frankie asks Dave about his passion for producing music at his studio Freq Shop, and Mike brings up a scary fire-filled night in Sault Ste Marie that saw the band's tour van go up in flames. David's story reminds us that we have to have patience and passion in our work if we want to find success. Frankie and Mike discuss their ideas of doing things whole-heartedly and how David's story has impacted them.

    Stephen Eguino is a musician, singer, and social media personality, using new and engaging mediums in the name of digital evangelization. When the team at Keepin' it Frank met Steve a few years ago, he was en route to becoming a priest but has since changed course. Frank and Mike sit down with the man behind the music of BoscoBeats, as he tells them about the power and influence of Catholicism in his life along with his decision to enter the vocation and subsequently leave it. Mike asks about his many talents and how he's using it to spread his message, while Frank discusses the impact of social media on his spiritual journey. Our hosts talk about the impact of Covid on one's spirituality during these times of isolation and how important a tool social media is when it comes to spreading messages of joy and happiness.

Frank and Mike ask Chris about how Covid-19 has helped him reconnect with others, create new business opportunities, give back to the community, and witness his growing boy's many quirks and achievements. Chris shares his story of addiction, depression, getting clean, and ultimately seeing the beauty in life again, now almost 21 years sober. As Chris shifts his professional career to line up with things that make him happy, Frank and Mike examine what it means to “honour our truth”.

We sit down to speak to him about what the grind is like for a DJ building a brand today and how Covid-19 has affected his job. We ask about how Joe and Mary's Wedding and the Insieme parties came to be and what his business plan is moving forward as he pivots to focusing on creating events and planning elaborate parties. Frank and Mike chat about the importance of hearing first-hand accounts of people in the thick of down periods on our journeys to success and how important it is to celebrate our achievements as a reminder that we can overcome obstacles.

The guys share their ideas about what the podcast means to them and what the audience can hopefully get from listening to the conversations to be had. It has been a passion project a long time in the making and they can't wait to see where this new journey will take them.
