Controversial and hilarious, the film uses Python's trademark silliness as a scalpel to slice open dogma and the perils of fame. Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster's Academy Award winning career-best performances and Jonathan Demme's masterful direction come together to create one of the finest and scariest films ever made.
