A Message About the Future of the Show
Some news: Emmanuel and Alex will be stepping away from making the show. And this iteration of Reply All will be ending in late June.
This isn’t a decision that was made by any one person. Reply All has always been a super collaborative project which is what we’ve loved so much about making it. Ultimately, staff who have been working on this show for a long time – in some cases five, six, seven years at this point – are ready to pursue other things.
Making this show has been an incredible pleasure. Thank you all so much for listening.
We hope you join us for our remaining episodes, including our last one, on June 23rd.

You’ve changed, but I still love you
I miss P.J. and Alex together and their frenemy vibe, but all things change (sigh). I do also like the new hosts, and I hope they won’t play it too safe.
Where they go from here
Reply All has remained one of my all-time favorite podcasts since the beginning—I literally don’t think there is an episode I haven’t listened to.
I was really sad to see what happened with Sruthi and PJ and I honestly think it’s an opportunity for learning and growing but all that aside, my biggest point to the team is this: the stories themselves make the show good, but what always made it a favorite was the chemistry between the people on-air. Nobody would listen to a Yes Yes No episode if it weren’t for the fact that we genuinely felt like we were hanging out with friends. Keep up the good vibes and easygoing, funny chemistry between hosts and it’ll work. If that’s not there or if it’s forced, then it’s dead. Only they can determine if that chemistry is there or not, but I hope to God it is because I don’t want to see the show go down like this.
Episode #41 rocks
Reply All is a enjoyable podcast for people who want to learn more about what the internet is and how it affects us.
Episode #41 took me by surprise. It was about depression. Yet it totally falls perfectly into this internet podcast. How do people without depression use Instagram and how do those who do react to those who post happy photos.
Such a window into the lives of those plagued by this invisible illness. Thank you!
