    'No benefits, no fair pay': International students stripped of $3.18 billion in annual wages

    Australia’s largest survey into migrant working conditions has exposed alarming evidence of widespread and systemic wage underpayment. The report, released by the Migrant Justice Initiative, found that two-thirds of migrant workers are earning less than their legal entitlements under the Fair Work Act, while international students alone are losing an estimated $3.18 billion in unpaid wages each year.
