    "The plot is as thin as a London society belle; the unsurprising dramatic developments are delivered with the subtlety of a sledgehammer; the characters are mostly caricatures; and anything vaguely notable is constantly repeated." - Rotten Tomatoes review of Bridgerton from The Age Bridgerton has been praised as a new and edgy show from Shondaland. Full of crazy sex scenes and hunks o' burnin' love... However, we are failing to figure out how many brothers there actually are, what's so sexy about the sex scenes, and how its essentially a try-hard version of The Great. (Not to mention the ridiculous and comedic use of the pull-out method...) So should we burn for Bridgerton like Daphne says to the Duke? Or should it go down in flames? And Hilaria Baldwin was a mildly successful New York yoga instructor most well-known for being Alec Baldwin's Spanish wife. Until a tweet in December 2020 accused her of impersonating a Spanish woman and blew the lid off what people are calling the biggest cultural appropriation scandal since Rachel Dolezal. So is this an open-shut case of cultural appropriation? Or do people just love tearing down skinny women who've had 5 kids and are rich? Come on baldwinitos, let's talk about cultural appropriation.
