Host Payne Lindsey returns with season 3 to investigate the North West Montana disappearance of Ashley Loring HeavyRunner, an indigenous woman who went missing from the Blackfeet Nation Indian Reservation in 2017. Up and Vanished is a true crime series that investigates mysterious cold case disappearances. Season 1 covered the disappearance of Georgia high school teacher Tara Grinstead, resulting in 2 arrests, and season 2 focused on the disappearance of young mother Kristal Reisinger from a remote mountain town in Colorado, a case that has since been reopened.

Doesn’t seem like the podcast was done by an amateur. The story instantly gets you hooked.

I particularly like the staggered format.
Give it a pass
Breaking news during the run of the podcast reveals everything up to Ep.12 completely irrelevant and totally wrong but for some reason everybody acts like the host's completely off-the-track investigation "broke the case". Everything from Ep. 13 on is just vanity and vamping for something to air so he can get his commercials in.
His obvious hiding of his Georgia accent like it's something to be ashamed of doesn't exactly endear him to me. (Check Ep. 13 when he is busy accepting congratulations in the courtroom.)
