Parenting is hard, but being a focused, intentional and Christian parent is even harder, especially when you’re trying to lead by example and avoid the “Do as I say and not as I do” tagline. Being there for your kids and trying to teach them all they need to know while also being attuned to yourself is no easy feat, but it can be done and is so worth the time and effort it takes. I not only want to help you be authentic to yourself, but in your parenting, as well.     Character and integrity aren’t just learned, they’re taught, and all our children have to do is listen and observe how we parent them and live our daily lives to know what those values look like.     Has anytime someone told you to “Calm down” made you feel better or did it make you feel LESS calm? That’s what I thought. While sometimes hearing those words can help, most of the time it doesn’t and the same rings true for our kids.
