    I LET YOU GO I loved her. But somewhere between loving her and trying to trust her, I started fighting battles that existed mostly in my own head. She didn't ask me to be perfect. She just wanted to be loved without having to constantly prove that she was safe to love. And eventually, I had to ask myself a difficult question: What if holding on to someone you love is sometimes more selfish than letting them go? So this is about that.
