He’s 31, and while otherwise fully carnivore, he eats fruit. Not because he’s confused about the diet, but because he understands something most people miss: the carnivore lifestyle is about eliminating what’s harming you, not following a rulebook to the letter. In this video he shares a thought experiment he’s put to vegans, one designed to strip away ideology, and get to what we actually value when it comes to food, animals, and health. The conversation rarely goes the way he expects. Instead of engaging with the idea, most vegans take it completely literally, missing the point entirely, and turning a philosophical discussion into an argument about hypotheticals. Sound familiar? This is what happens when ideology replaces curiosity. When people are so committed to defending a belief system, that they can no longer step back and think. And ironically, it’s a trap that anyone on any diet can fall into, carnivore included. If you’ve ever tried to have a genuine conversation about nutrition only to hit a wall of dogma, this one’s for you. Drop your own thought experiment in the comments. We want to hear how those conversations went. 2. They Call It Bullying. We Call It Bad Science. S3E17

They Call It Bullying. We Call It Bad Science. S3E17

Food Bullying Is Real, But So Is Bad Nutrition Advice At the top of our reel, we show how a UK registered nutritionist reacts to a viral clip of children at a gym being shamed by their trainer for poor breakfast choices. While the nutritionist is right that food bullying is harmful, his defense of carb-heavy breakfasts for kids tells a different story. We agree completely that no child should ever feel humiliated or judged for what they eat. That causes lasting psychological damage, and does nothing to build healthy habits. But calling out bullying doesn’t mean every breakfast is equally nourishing, and that’s where the conversation has to go deeper. In this video, we break down what was really happening in that gym, why the trainer’s silence on better choices was its own kind of failure, and why a registered nutritionist defending sugar-spiking, carb-loaded mornings as a reasonable choice for growing kids isn’t the compassionate stance it appears to be. Children deserve both emotional safety and genuine nutritional support. They are not the same thing, and we should not have to choose between them. We discuss the real harm of food shaming, the difference between kindness and nutritional negligence, and what children’s bodies actually need to thrive. INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE! Seed oil chaos and destruction S3E12

Mark Ennis and Victoria Olson dive straight into one of the most controversial questions in modern nutrition: what if the very oils we were told would “protect our hearts” are actually driving metabolic dysfunction? In this conversation, Mark and Victoria break down how industrial seed and vegetable oils - high in unstable polyunsaturated fats - become prone to oxidation, disrupt cell membrane structure, and interfere with cellular signaling. The result? What they describe is “metabolic chaos.” They also tackle the cholesterol question head-on. Rather than viewing cholesterol as the villain, they discuss its structural and reparative role in cell membranes - and how excessive intake of processed seed oils displaces and undermines cholesterol’s protective functions. If cholesterol is the stabilizer and repair molecule, what happens when it’s crowded out by fragile, easily oxidized fats? Finally, they zoom out to the last 50 years of dietary guidance - low-fat messaging, vegetable oil promotion, and the parallel rise in obesity, diabetes, and arterial disease - and ask whether we’ve misunderstood the root cause of the epidemic. Victoria also shares insights from her soon-to-be-published book, “Troubleshooting Your Carnivore Diet,” offering practical strategies for those using a carnivore framework to restore metabolic health and reduce inflammatory burden. If you’re curious about the biochemical case against seed oils - and the argument for rethinking long-standing nutrition dogma - this discussion will challenge you to look deeper.
