We’re continuing our summer series with a recap of the week’s top headlines and relevant conversation from The Bulletin archive. This week, Maine’s Democratic Nominee for US Senate Graham Platner suspended his bid for Senate after Politico reported a woman’s accusations of rape. We re-air a conversation with Charlie Sykes, Russell Moore, and Clarissa Moll about other politicians who have removed themselves from office due to sexual allegations, and why politicians have become more shameless. Then, conflict reignited in the Middle East after Iran struck three commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz and the US began retaliatory strikes. Jill Nelson joins to discuss the importance of the Strait and how it affects international Christian aid organizations. Finally, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married last weekend, and some are speculating how their wedding will affect trends to come. Jen Wilkin, Russell Moore, Mike Cosper, and Clarissa Moll discuss secular and sacred wedding traditions, and what couples getting married today can focus on.
