    Anyone Could Trigger a Shake Down

    In this episode, we’re in orbit above TOI-700 d, a lush Earth-like exoplanet orbiting a red dwarf star just over 100 light-years from Earth. The planet is home to the Tylash, a spacefaring but technically less advanced society with no historical baggage with the UFR or the old corporate blocs. The settlements on the planet surface are littered with a unique natural resource Weyl semimetals, a new class of quantum materials that have the physical appearance of metals but are poor conductors of electricity, and whose properties do not change when they are deformed. The commercial potential for which would be enormous as the exotic material has only previously been made in labs. However, extracting those materials would be devastating to the local communities.The Tylash have reached out as they have seismic data that predicted a once in a milena resonance cascade that threatens to destabilise a huge portion of their continent. It won’t destroy the planet—but it will cause widespread suffering,devastating local flora and fauna as well as making living conditions very difficult for the next decade. A UFR Crisis delegation with a representative of CoreHelix Crisis Division has arrived to talk to the locals about their options and they have 20 minutes before they are due to make their recommendation to the UFR Senator responsible for the Emergency Measures Agency.     Anyone Could Have The Right Stuff

    In this episode, we’re inside the UFR Research Station Osiris, currently orbiting the Carina Nebula—a vast, real-world star-forming region over 7,500 light-years from Earth. Osiris is observing an interstellar anomaly known as Object 514-C, a self-repeating neutrino burst that may be the first observed remnant signal from a pre-galactic civilization. It’s a scientific posting of immense prestige - and potential danger. The anomaly occasionally disrupts local communications, and proximity to dark matter filaments poses a navigational hazard. Despite this, political pressure means the position of Orbital Administrator must be filled immediately.     In this episode, the escape shuttle Callisto’s Mercy drifts silently after evacuating the orbital research station Spire-6 moments before a catastrophic breach. The explosion destroyed the station—and with it, the GeneralAI android known as R. Lyra, a fully sentient being with legal personhood. Five survivors escaped the station In 20 minutes, the MSV Minas Geraes will arrive. The survivors must resolve who was responsible, and what to tell the authorities.     Anyone Can Go Too Far

    In this episode, we find ourselves aboard the CSV Halcyon Wake, an independent civilian cargo vessel. You've intercepted a distress signal from the CSV Trillium Fold, a CoreHelix registered transport ship that vanished over 18 months ago. It’s drifting on minimal power in the Eos Molecular Cloud, a volume of space 300 Ly from Earth and just outside the standard Way Station network - making it off-map, off-registry, and completely silent. No signs of damage. No response to hails. Escape pods: gone. Life signs: negative. Manifest: redacted. You have just docked alongside the apparently abandoned vessel to investigate. You have 20 minutes until a “recovery” vessel, claiming authority under CoreHelix salvage licence, but they have not supplied any corroborating evidence. You have no idea who they really are, and of course Anything Could Happen!     In this episode, we find ourselves on Station 2123-VX, orbiting the volcanic moon Charon-Gamma, a hostile, high-pressure hellworld rich in pressurised hydrogen and rare isotope salts used in fusion batteries. The station is operated by CoreHelix, a UFR-licensed megacorporation that runs industrial refineries under contract. The workers here—mostly humans, Spacers, and some cyber-augmented Q’Elar—are overworked and cracking under the pressure. A new station chief has just arrived. A body’s just been found. And a shipment of unauthorized bio-enhancers has gone missing. And the last transport left 3 days ago. The next one arrives in 20 minutes. Someone has called it in early.     Anyone Can Steal The Spotlight

    In this episode, we find ourselves aboard the CSV Marietta’s Requiem - a Civilian Space Vehicle retrofitted as a diplomatic auditorium, currently in high orbit above Tau Ceti f. The vessel hosts the Interstellar Peace Gala, a high-profile cultural summit orchestrated to symbolise interspecies unity and reinforce the fragile trust between UFR member factions and former enemies. The centrepiece of this gala is “Harmony Beyond Stars”, an original multisensory opera composed by a renowned Spacer artist. Delegates from across the UFR and its allies are gathered in ceremonial finery, seated in separate viewing galleries - and everyone is watching everyone else. But beneath the music, something sharp stirs. Someone in this room plans to sabotage the peace.     The team have to decide what to do - when the asteroid they are mining... shifts....

    In this episode, we find ourselves in the Kepler-22 system, where the survey and salvage vessel CSV Helix Wake is conducting operations on K-22-Δ6—a 200km-long metallic asteroid on a slow inbound solar trajectory. Its mass signature indicates extraordinarily dense superconductive material—potentially a jackpot for deep-space infrastructure. GlacioDyne’s deep-claim salvage division is funding the operation. The crew began mining operations just under 12 hours ago. But the last 90 minutes have been… strange. The asteroid has shifted. Not once—multiple times. Internal temperature is rising. There are tremors, electromagnetic spikes, and a low-frequency resonance from inside. You’ve been summoned to the bridge to make a decision: push forward with the mining, investigate further, or abandon the claim.
