    The Furman men's basketball team hasn't won the Southern Conference Tournament Championship since 1980, enduring one of the longest droughts in college basketball history, and in 2022, they were just 4.3 seconds away from victory before a last-second 3-point shot dashed their hopes. "Better Together: Furman's Championship Quest" is a 5-episode limited series chronicling the team's pursuit of a SoCon Tournament Championship and a return to March Madness after 43 years as a Cinderella team. It is an inspiration to watch as well as to learn from both sides of the ball. Written and directed by Richmond Weaver  EMMY Award-winning director & producer, broadcaster, and host of Rich Take On Sports, Richmond Weaver. He is a Clemson University graduate and member of the Clemson basketball team and former Division I basketball coach, he currently serves as a college basketball TV color analyst and host of The Richmond Weaver Show on Fox Sports.  His media work includes hosting the SoCon Fast Break podcast and serving as host of The Tiger Tailgate Show, the official Clemson football pre-game broadcast. His filmmaking is highlighted by an EMMY for producing the docu-series Clemson's Greatest Games and by an EMMY for Outstanding Director for Better Together: Furman's Championship Quest available now on Prime Video.
