    The Prayer of Jabez and Sonship

    What if the Prayer of Jabez was never about getting more from God — but learning how to ask Him like a son? In the middle of a long genealogy, Scripture pauses for one man and one prayer. Jabez asks boldly: for blessing, for expansion, for God’s presence, and for freedom from the pain that shaped his past. And God answers — without correction, hesitation, or warning. Many of us live as servants in our relationship with God, even though we’ve been invited to live as sons. We believe God can bless us, but we’re not sure He delights in us. We want His presence, but we’re still driven by fear, performance, or unresolved pain.
