    It’s recently been put on my heart that I’m not spending my time with what really matters- The King of the Universe. I’ve allowed many other distractions and factors remove me from resting in the presence of the Lord. Why is that? Is it because I’ve allowed external obligations (jobs, school) to take control of my time? Is it because I feel guilty for not meeting someone else’s expectations? In this episode, I talk through these thoughts and feelings. From my experiences today and the “Jesus Calling” devotional by Sarah Young, I’ve been inspired to spend ample time residing in what’s actually important.

    In this episode, I talk about about how prayer works and the benefit of praying. I used the “Jesus Calling” devotional, by Sarah Young, as a starting place for explaining my understanding of God’s power and role in answering our prayers. Even if I do not see immediate results, I still understand that He has put things into motion. With this understanding, I try to trust in God’s power, desire, and ability to answer my prayers. I know that He has my best interest.
