Adoptees On

I am a person who was adopted (no longer a child) and understand that everyone’s experiences with adoption are very different. I live in the country from which I was adopted, have a relationship with my mother, and discovered that my birth father petitioned a court to have me removed from our family registry. His two sons from his second marriage later replaced me as his children. Sometimes, while listening, I have laughed and/or cried with the host and guest, and other times, I wanted to jump through the phone to give a hug. Thank you for the work you’re doing! Though I’m unable to support the show financially, I often tell friends about it (the estrangement series in particular)
