    Into this gut-wrenching episode, the brothers throw their incisive commentary. Noting the internal conflict within Walt/Heisenberg that comes to a head when hank is executed by one of Walt's drug partners, the brothers discuss which of the personas within Walt prevail when everything comes to a head. With the events of this episode, the die is cast, and there is no going back for Walt, so the ultimate consequences of his choices begin to bare their nature and that of the character that Walt has developed over the last 5 seasons.

    S5E13 "To'Hajilee"

    The brothers discuss this episode in which everything seems to come to a head. Hank uses Jesse to outsmart Walt, while Walt fails to use Andrea to outsmart Jesse. As Hank and Jesse lure Walt into a trap, and just after the handcuffs are on Walt, everything blows up. This episode presents an interesting side of Walt, as opposed to Heisenberg, who still feels the need to justify his actions and maintain an expectation that everyone is operating as a purely rational actor in a game that is inherently irrational.

    S5E11 "Confessions"

    The brothers unpack this episode of deceit and desperation in which Walt and Skyler concoct a plan to blackmail Hank unless he drops the case against Walt. It's a story of power-plays and leverage, resentment, and subterfuge. Meanwhile, Jesse has proven to be a liability that Walt can't afford to keep around, and so he convinces Jesse to disappear and remove himself, only for that plan to fall apart miserably. Now Jesse's and Walt's relationship may never be made right again.

    Finally, we arrive at the episode from which the iconic line comes, when Walt makes the other big drug lord in the region say his name, as an act of submission to the acknowledged king, Heisenberg. The brothers discuss the tragic nature of this episode that begins on a hopeful and familiar expectation of Walt's that violence is behind him; it ends, though, with Walt purposelessly murdering Mike, his recent partner with Jesse.
