    Londres es nuestro último destino vacacional en el verano de 1966. Ciudad convertida en aquellos días en el epicentro mundial de la revolución cultural, la moda y la música. El momento de apogeo de aquel Swinging London empapó la capital británica de colores, libertad y optimismo, con la selección de Inglaterra, anfitriona del Mundial, ganando la copa ese mismo verano. Imposible abarcar con unas pocas canciones lo que ocurrió en el año más rompedor e innovador en la historia del pop y el rocknroll, pero está podría ser una buena banda sonora.     Ha fallecido a los 69 años Jeff Conolly, líder y fundador de dos bandas fundamentales en la escena de Boston y en el underground del rock’n’roll a nivel mundial; los pioneros del punk DMZ y los míticos del garage Lyres. Cantante, teclista y compositor, apasionado conocedor y estudioso musical, poderosa figura escénica, de actitud arrolladora y trato “complejo”. Vivió siempre alejado del éxito comercial pero fue sumamente influyente en generaciones posteriores.
