Thankfully, we have many examples in Scripture of godly people who showed us how to do this. Among those examples we will explore are Daniel and his 3 friends.     The Example of Tyre | Who is in Control?

    In this episode we take a look at a city named Tyre. This biblical city located off of the coast of the Mediterranean Sea had judgment proclaimed on it in an interesting way. It took a few different world powers to bring about its destruction, but to no surprise, we see God’s hand over the whole thing. What can we learn from Biblical prophecies such as this?     Judges 9 | Parable of the Bramble

    In this episode we are taking a look at often forgot story about a man named Abimelech, found in Judges 9. In this story this man tries to take on the role of a king over the people. However, there is a wise warning that comes from Abimelech’s brother, Jotham, about what it would look like if Abimelech became king. Through this story we learn what happens when someone out of selfishness decides to exalt themselves.     John 15 | Loving Like Jesus

    In this episode we are looking at something Jesus said to his disciples in John 15. This final moment for Jesus and His disciples shows us what Christ’s expectation for us is when he leaves the earth. His encouragement had one central theme: Love. How we love our brethren can and will show Jesus how dedicated we are to following him. We are also taught to place our love for God and His people far above our love for self.     Standing Alone | When Faith Feels Isolating

    In this episode we look at various examples in Scripture of people who stood firm in their faith, even though they felt alone. What we will learn is that often when we feel that loneliness, there are others we don’t know about. But in that isolation, I can learn a lot about myself and my level of commitment to God.     Luke 15:1-10 | A Sinner’s Worth

    In this episode we are looking at 2 parables Jesus tells in Luke 15. These teachings were prompted by the Pharisee’s shock that Jesus would receive sinners. Through the story, Jesus challenges us to realize how much love and concern someone must have if they want to save a soul. But even deeper, we learn how God values a soul straying into darkness.     Colossians 4 | Devoted in Prayer & Personal Greetings

    In this episode we finish the book of Colossians and talk through the 4th chapter. Paul calls our attention to the devotion it takes to be a person of prayer.
