Hey guys! I’ve been a long time listener of the podcast. I have only praise for you guys! I’m 48 and have been riding since I was 20, mostly in South Korea where we get the pleasure of riding all year round - or at least I do! In the colder months, most bikes are put away except for the delivery guys and gals! The cold doesn’t hurt anyone. I usually listen on my commute to school as a teacher here in South Korea, which is about an hour.
I’m raising two daughters, one of which is now 8 and we’ve already been out on my 2023 Yamaha Nmax 155 scooter for some short rides around the city - all geared up of course! And guess what? She loves it! She was so excited to tell Mom all about it. Luckily, my Korean wife (I’m Canadian from Saskatchewan) has no qualms about it. The wife and I used to ride everywhere together on my 2015 Yamaha MT-09 Tracer, which I still own and love. There’s also a third bike that’s sitting at the moment. I’m think of picking up a used Suzuki SV-650 as a forth for some fun squirts around the city. What do you think? The more the merrier, right?
I’ve order gear across the big lake a few times back in the day when shipping costs were about $20 USD. Now, it’s like $40 or $50 USD!! Come on! What’s with the crazy shipping costs! Plus I have to pay taxes at the airport! How about shipping me a High Side Low Side t-shirt across the pond for us motorcycle fans! I’m doing my work over here! Haha.
