Past Gas

I only listened to the 4 episodes on the history of the Hell’s Angels. And, while I was a bit unnerved that they thought that a history of the Hell’s Angels needed to start with a thorough history of the bicycle in the mid-19th Century, I listened to all 4 episodes all the way through. And, yes, while I do question the guys who do this pod’s ability to properly gauge their listeners’ patience for the origin point of a proper history of anything, I’m being a bit tongue-in-cheek here because these guys tell a good story at a good pace. And, most importantly, they seem like a good hang. And if you’re unclear about the semantic intent of that phrase, I just mean they seem like they’d be cool or fun to hang out with. And when it comes to judging podcasts, isn’t that sort of the most important criteria? I don’t want to end on a rhetorical question so I’ll just say, yeah, “these people seem like a good hang” is a really important factor in judging a podcast. For example, I’m not really into automotive anything but I’m considering listening to more episodes. I already have too many podcasts so that might not happen. The fact that I’m considering it though is a way of paying this podcast a compliment.
