    Interview with Pastor Kari

    Welcome back to Queer PoliFaith! Today's episode is an interview with Pastor Kari Parsons about a sit in in a Senate office building in January. We talk about how everything was organized, how the sit in went down, how the Capitol police reacted, and what it was like to be detained as well as why it was important that this sit in happened.     Welcome back to Queer PoliFaith! Today, we have my interview with Mae about her dissertation. The episode is a little longer than normal, but it is well worth listening to. I hope you will enjoy this episode and have been enjoying the last several episodes about her dissertation. In the interview, we talk about the dissertation, she explains a few concepts better than I did, and we go over a few things in more detail than I was able to in my discussion of the dissertation. She also corrects my pronounciation of a couple of names that I got incorrect (my bad!).     Mae's Dissertation, Part 1

    Welcome back to Queer PoliFaith! Today, we are going to start our look into Mae's doctoral dissertation called An Accessible Image: Reconstructing the Imago Dei for a More Inclusive Anthropology. I was originally planning on taking 2 episodes to look at the dissertation, but I realized it may take 3 episodes.  So be prepared for that, I'll know by the end of next episode. The dissertation takes a bit to get through because it has a lot of philosophical and theological concepts that are not always the easiest to explain, no matter how well Mae writes.
