    Is climate denialism on the rise? Prof Katharine Hayhoe on science, faith and algorithms

    Katharine Hayhoe is a climate scientist and an evangelical Christian who lives in Texas and knows how to reach out to conservatives who might see climate change as a party political rather than a science-based issue.     The one skill you need to succeed in your career in a turbulent world - by Adam Grant

And in a dynamic environment, intelligence is not just your ability to think and learn, it's your capacity to rethink and unlearn."     AI can lie, hack and blackmail: Yoshua Bengio on how to tame the "baby tiger" of tech

    If AIs can think for themselves, what is to stop them doing bad - perhaps really bad - things? Yoshua Bengio, one of a handful of people considered a "godfather of AI", says AIs are already displaying bad behaviours, including hacking computers and blackmailing humans.
