    Welcome to our podcast Single Malt Marathoners - Episode 1 James, John and Sam who are three Bristol based runners talk marathon training whilst drinking scotch. During the Coronavirus lock down we obviously have more time than usual - Our hope is that the podcast will be a good way of positively using this extra time. Key topics: 1 - Introductions… Running histories including personals bests. 2 - Last weeks training including specific workouts. 3 - Today’s workout: 4 X 10Mins @ Marathon Pace with 2mins Recovery. 4 - James sets next weeks workout. 5 - Autumn marathon news - if we’re running, where? 6 - Training through Coronavirus - what we’re doing differently to a normal. 7 - Culture - We mention other podcasts including the inspiration for this one: Inside Running Podcast and also mention Lets Run.

    Episode 3

    Hey all - thanks for listening to our 3rd episode! We talk about our previous week's training, how we got on with the set workout and then set each other next week's workout as well - which is: 60 mins of 5off/5on... E.G Someone who's a Sub3-Marathoner pace would run - 7:45MM Pace for 5 minutes (OFF), 6:45MM Pace for 5 minutes (ON)... Repeat... for an hour! Try and have a go before next Tuesday 8PM and let us know either on Facebook, Instagram or on Strava how you got on! This weeks feature was the importance of the long run!     Episode 4 - With Kelly Dicks

    Hey - thanks for listening to our 4th episode - we hope you enjoy it! This one is different to the last 3 episodes... we have a guest! Schedule: We talk about our previous week's training, how we got on with a set workout and then set each other a new workout for next week.
