Iran launches more missiles on Israel after calling US proposals "unrealistic"

Iran described US proposals to end a month of war in the Middle East as "unrealistic, illogical and excessive", and unleashed more missiles on Israel. This is now in the backdrop of the news just coming in that two UNIFIL peacekeepers have been killed in Southern Lebanon with the Defence Forces here saying that no Irish were involved, and that all members are safe and accounted for. Scott Mills sacked by the BBC over ‘personal conduct’

The BBC has sacked the Radio 2 Presenter Scott Mills after allegations about his personal conduct. The corporation announced the departure of the Radio 2 star, who took over the breakfast show from Zoe Ball in 2025. Surge in energy prices due to Iran war pushes Irish inflation rate to 3.6%

The rate of inflation in Ireland jumped this month to 3.6% due to the surge in energy prices amid the conflict in the Middle East, according to the CSO. €50 fee for blister packs to come into effect tomorrow

Monthly €50 fees for blister packs will come into effect from tomorrow, this comes after changes to a public agreement with chemists were postponed last year after the fees sparked days of backlash. I love the content of this podcast but whoever edits this thing is responsible for a lot of ear damage! The intro and outro jingles are 2 or 3 times the volume level of the content, so I have to turn it up to hear Ivan and guests, then the jingles happen at extremely loud levels, and if I’m wearing headphones it actually hurts! If I’m playing the podcast on speakers it’s so loud it annoys my neighbors. Please, do something about this. Thanks for the content though :)
