    Growth Requires Pruning

What if the thing you're desperately trying to hold onto is something God is asking you to release? Sometimes we assume spiritual growth means adding more—more knowledge, more opportunities, more responsibilities, more goals. But sometimes... God grows us through subtraction. In Episode 7 of GROWTH: Becoming More Like Christ, we're talking about one of the most uncomfortable parts of spiritual growth: pruning. Jesus tells us in John 15 that the Father prunes branches that are already bearing fruit so they can become even more fruitful. That means pruning isn't necessarily proof that you're failing. Sometimes, it's preparation. In this episode, we'll talk about: • What biblical pruning actually means • Why pruning isn't always punishment • Why not every painful loss should be labeled as pruning • How even good things can become unfruitful • Why some seasons need to end • How pruning exposes our attachments • What to do when God asks you to release something • How to remain in Christ when you don't understand what God is doing And stay until the end because I'll give you one question to bring before God that may completely change the way you look at what you're carrying right now. ✨ Remain in the Vine. Trust the Gardener. Key Scriptures: John 15:1–5 Hebrews 12:11 Ecclesiastes 3:1 Philippians 3:13–14 Psalm 139:23–24 🎧 Listen now and continue your journey of becoming more like Christ. Growth Requires Consistency

You started strong. You were reading your Bible. Praying consistently. Working on your habits. Trying to become more patient, disciplined, and intentional. Then life happened. You got busy. You got tired. You missed a few days—and eventually stopped. Sound familiar? In Episode 6 of GROWTH: Becoming More Like Christ, we're talking about something that matters more than motivation: Consistency. You'll learn why spiritual growth often happens quietly, why you shouldn't quit just because you can't see results yet, and why consistency does not mean perfection. We'll also talk about the difference between discipline and abiding—and why the answer isn't always to try harder, but to stay closer to Jesus. In this episode, you'll discover: • Why motivation alone cannot sustain growth • What to do when you don't see results • Why ordinary faithfulness matters • How to stay consistent without becoming legalistic • Why missing a day doesn't mean you've failed • The difference between striving and abiding • How small daily choices shape who you're becoming And stay until the end because I'll give you one simple question to ask yourself every day that can completely change the way you approach growth. ✨ You don't need a dramatic life-changing moment every day. You need daily faithfulness. Key Scriptures: Galatians 6:9 John 15:4–5 Luke 16:10 Psalm 1:1–3 Hebrews 12:1–2 🎧 Listen now and continue becoming more like Christ. Growth Requires Obedience

Why do so many Christians know God's Word... but still struggle to experience transformation? The answer may not be a lack of knowledge. It may be a lack of obedience. In Episode 5 of GROWTH: Becoming More Like Christ, Jeanith Padilla shares why obedience is the turning point of spiritual growth. God isn't asking us to know more before we follow Him. He's inviting us to faithfully obey what He's already revealed. In this episode, we talk about: • Why obedience is the evidence of our love for Christ • The difference between knowing God's Word and living it • How small acts of obedience shape our character • Trusting God before understanding • Why obedience leads to freedom • Taking your next faithful step with Jesus ✨ You don't become more like Christ by knowing more. You become more like Christ by obeying what you already know. Growth Requires Responsibility

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to explain why we are the way we are? "I'm stressed." "I'm just busy." "My childhood made me this way." "My spouse makes me angry." "My circumstances are difficult." Maybe those things explain your story. But they don't have to define your future. In Episode 4 of GROWTH: Becoming More Like Christ, Jeanith Padilla explores why awareness alone doesn't produce transformation. Real growth begins when we stop making excuses and start taking responsibility for what God is asking us to do. This episode will challenge you to stop waiting for everyone else to change and begin asking: "Lord, what are You asking me to do?" In this episode: • Why awareness alone doesn't change your life • The difference between blame and responsibility • Why obedience matters more than information • How to stop waiting for perfect circumstances • Daily choices that shape your character • Becoming more like Christ through faithful obedience ✨ Growth begins when excuses end. Growth Requires Self-Awareness

Why do you react the way you do? Why do certain things trigger you? Why do you keep repeating the same patterns? Sometimes growth begins when we stop examining everyone else and become willing to look honestly at ourselves. In Episode 3 of GROWTH: Becoming More Like Christ, Jeanith Padilla explores why self-awareness is essential to spiritual growth—and why biblical self-awareness is not about becoming obsessed with yourself. It's about inviting God to reveal what He wants to transform in you. In this episode, we talk about: • Recognizing your patterns and reactions • Understanding what your triggers may be revealing • Taking an honest look at your heart • The difference between self-awareness and self-obsession • Why your emotions can be information without becoming your authority • Examining the fruit of your life • Inviting God to reveal your blind spots ✨ You cannot grow in an area you are unwilling to see. Key Scriptures: • Psalm 139:23–24 • Lamentations 3:40 • Matthew 7:3–5 • Galatians 5:22–23 • 2 Corinthians 13:5 🎧 Listen now and continue your journey of becoming more like Christ. The Heart of a Teachable Person

What happens inside you when someone corrects you? Do you immediately become defensive? Explain yourself? Get offended? Or can you pause and ask: "Is there something here that I need to learn?" In Episode 2 of GROWTH: Becoming More Like Christ, Jeanith Padilla explores one of the most important qualities of a growing person: a teachable heart. Being teachable doesn't mean believing every criticism or allowing people to disrespect you. It means having enough humility to listen, examine your heart, seek God's wisdom, and remain open to growth. In this episode, we talk about: • Why correction can feel so uncomfortable • How pride makes us defensive • The connection between insecurity and defensiveness • How to discern criticism without automatically rejecting it • Why difficult people can become unexpected teachers • How humility helps us become more like Christ ✨ Not everything people say about you is true. But every situation can still teach you something. Why Some People Stop Growing

Have you ever wondered why some people continue growing while others stay stuck for years? It's usually not because of intelligence, education, or opportunity. In this first episode of the GROWTH: Becoming More Like Christ series, Jeanith Padilla explores two of the greatest obstacles to transformation: pride and hopelessness. You'll discover why growth begins with a teachable heart, why God is never finished with you, and how humility and hope work together to transform your life. If you've ever felt spiritually stagnant or wondered why change feels so difficult, this episode will encourage you to keep growing. In this episode we discuss: • Why people stop growing • Pride vs. humility • Hopelessness vs. faith • Becoming teachable • Spiritual transformation • Becoming more like Christ Key Scriptures • Proverbs 9:9 • James 4:6 • Philippians 1:6 • Romans 12:2 🎙️ Welcome to GROWTH: Becoming More Like Christ.
