    Halloween Children in America like Halloween very much. On the evening of the 31st,October, they put on special clothes for “ Trick or Treat”. Some children might dress like witches and ghosts, some children just dress like their favorite characters such as Cinderella , Snow White, little mermaid , spiderman and so on. They go to their neighbors’ houses and knock at the doors, when the neighbors open the doors the kids say “ Trick or Treat”.  Then Children usually get sweets from their neighbors, they play a trick on them if their neighbors don’t give them some treats.  Children like Halloween very much and they like their treats from their neighbors.     Christmas Day Christmas Day comes in winter. It is a big holiday in western countries. It is always on December 25th. People set up beautiful Christmas trees and give presents to each other. They usually get days off for Christmas so they travel long distance to be with their families and relatives.     Teachers’ Day Today is Teacher’s Day. Our teachers have one day off and we don’t go to school. It is sunny and cool, we are having a good time with Mr. Zhang in the park. Mr. Zhang teaches us English, he is strict and smart, we all like him very much. We really want to celebrate Teacher’s Day for him, so we make him a big beautiful card, we all write best wishes in the card, Mr. Zhang is so moved when he sees the card.     The Mid-Autumn Festival The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival in China. It is on August 15th according to Chinese Lunar calendar. It usually falls in September or October. On that day, people visit their relatives and eat a big family dinner. Mooncakes are very popular and they are very delicious .     The Dragon Boat Festival The Dragon Boat Festival is very interesting and it is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to lunar calendar. People always eat rice dumplings and watch dragon boat races to celebrate it. The rice dumpling is made of glutinous rice , meat and so on. There are different kinds of rice dumplings and they are all very delicious. The dragon boat races usually take place in the southern China where there are many rivers and lakes, it is very popular.     Chinese Festivals We are Chinese. For all of us, the Spring Festival is the most important festival. We pay Spring Festival visits to our relatives. We have firecrackers and we eat dumplings together. I love the Spring Festival best. My mother loves the Mid-Autumn Festival, she makes delicious mooncakes for us. My father is very fond of the Dragon Boat Festival, he really likes rice dumplings and the  Dragon Boat races . My little sister loves the Lantern Festival so much because there are lots of lanterns and dragon dances. She also likes Tangyuan very much, it is a traditional food on Lantern Festival.
