We’ve all heard the stories of the superstar athletes who made it all the way to the top… but what about the ones who were left behind? Every athlete tells the story about how they had talented friends growing up, most say even more talented than them, but those friends either had a devastating injury, lacked the commitment or, like most of us, found the beers. This is the podcast of the forgotten hero. The person who sits at the pub on weekends telling anyone who will listen “I played with him” or “Yeah I was better than those guys and would of made it if it wasn’t for injury etc.
