Line Noise presenta Nitsa 30 - Episodio 5 con Ferran Camarasa
Line Noise is taking part in the 30th anniversary celebrations of Barcelona's famed club, Nitsa, including interviews with some of the key players in Nitsa's history. In episode five, we talk to Ferran Camarasa, the club’s current manager, plus promoter (with Somoslas) and DJ, who started to work in Nitsa in 1997. He talked about his history with the club, why Nitsa is special, running a club in 2024 and his special DJ tracks. Plus, we examine the history of dance music from 2004 to 2006, when Electroclash, Ed Banger and LCD Soundsystem were king.

With A.G. Cook and Sega Bodega
At the Primavera Sound festival this year Johann Wald and I were lucky enough to put together two titans of modern pop music, AG Cook and Sega Bodega, for an epic Line Noise conversation into the state of music, from hyperpop to Britpop, Caroline Polachek to Charli XCX. I wouldn't be exaggerating if I said this was one of my favourite Line Noises ever. So enjoy.

With Laetitia Sadier
Today on Line Noise we welcome one of my favourite musicians of all time: Laetitia Sadier, of Stereolab, Monade, the Laetitia Sadier Source Ensemble and also a fantastic solo artist. I caught up with her in May when she played in Barcelona with the Source Ensemble. In the interview we talked about France, politics, not being a Marxist, religion, the age of Aquarius, water shortage and so much more, including her brilliant recent album Rooting For Love, which is out now on Drag City. Go and buy it; go and listen to it; and go and check out one of her gigs. Line Noise is with the support of Cupra.

Hyperdub special with Kode9, Ikonika, DJ Haram and Heavee
To mark the 20th anniversary of famed British label Hyperdub, Line Noise organised a round-table interview with four of the label's key artists - founder Kode9, Ikonika, DJ Haram and Heavee - at Primavera Sound 2024. The results were fascinating, swinging from the obsession of running a record label to every artist's favourite Hyperdub songs. Picture by Cecila Diaz Betz.
