Introducing The Fertility Expert: Egg Freezing, Perimenopause & GLP-1s Explained from The Tamsen Show. Follow the show: The Tamsen Show If you're thinking about egg freezing, IVF, fertility decline, perimenopause, or reproductive health, this is the conversation you need to hear before meeting with your doctor. In this episode of The Tamsen Show, Tamsen Fadal sits down with Dr. Jamie Grifo, Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at NYU Langone. Dr. Grifo helped modernize IVF as we know it, launched NYU's egg freezing program in 1999, and has spent 40 years giving women the science they were never taught. Today, he's sharing everything you need to know about your fertility timeline, your hormone shifts, and how to make decisions that are right for you. You'll learn: - Why your chance of getting pregnant at 40 is 2-3% a month, not 20% - The age fertility actually starts to decline (it's earlier than you think) - The 3 fertility tests every woman should know: FSH, estradiol, and AMH - What a low AMH really means (and what it doesn't) - Egg freezing vs. embryo freezing: Which is right for you? - Why 40% of infertility is male factor, yet women still blame themselves - What endometriosis and PCOS mean for your fertility - Why postpartum and perimenopause symptoms are so often confused - How GLP-1 medications may improve fertility and why they're leading to "Ozempic babies" - The biggest emotional difference between freezing your eggs early and going through IVF later If you or someone you love has been carrying questions about fertility, this is the conversation that finally answers them. Ep. - 1658 - RETURN TO FOX HOLLOW: NEW VICTIMS, DARKER SECRETS

Herb Baumeister lived a quiet family life in a nine thousand square foot estate in Westfield, Indiana, while authorities believe he secretly targeted gay men at Indianapolis nightclubs during the 1990s, luring them back to his property where he killed them before dying by suicide in 1996. Director and executive producer Alex Jablonski returns for a second conversation, this time about the follow up to the Emmy nominated docuseries The Fox Hollow Murders: Playground of a Serial Killer. The new special, Return to Fox Hollow: New Victims, Darker Secrets, streams July 8 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+, and explores efforts to identify additional victims along with emerging questions about potential accomplices, missing evidence, and witness accounts that have shifted over time, including the story of Roger Goodlet, whose disappearance led investigators to Baumeister, and new scrutiny of Thomas Ackerman's connection to the case.         Reality Life with Kate Casey  Summer Reading List: https://katecasey.substack.com/p/books-i-cant-stop-talking-about-this  Vanity Fair Article: https://www.vanityfair.com/culture/story/martha-moxleys-diary  What to Watch List: https://katecasey.substack.com  Patreon: http://www.patreon.com/katecasey  Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/katecaseyca  Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@itskatecasey?lang=en  Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/113157919338245  Amazon List: https://www.amazon.com/shop/katecasey  Twitter: https://twitter.com/katecasey See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ep. - 1655 - SATURDAY SERIES: EMILY JENNINGS

After twenty-six years in the Coast Guard and a hard-earned retirement in a Margaritaville-branded community in Daytona Beach, Florida, Emily thought her next chapter was set. Then she noticed her husband's niece had vanished from his brother's Facebook page. What followed was a discovery that the seven-month-old had been placed in Florida's foster care system, and the beginning of an eighteen month legal battle that included a three day custody trial, allegations of fraudulent adoption paperwork, and a fight against a state system that seemed determined to keep her with a foster caregiver rather than family.     Emily and her husband ultimately adopted both the niece and, months later, her newborn brother, becoming parents to two young children in their fifties after raising a son who is now thirty. Emily talks about the toll of the legal process, what she learned about family adoption cases in Florida, the isolation of feeling like her family was fighting the system alone, and what it has been like to parent toddlers as a retired Gen Xer, decades after raising her first child.        Reality Life with Kate Casey  Summer Reading List: https://katecasey.substack.com/p/books-i-cant-stop-talking-about-this  Vanity Fair Article: https://www.vanityfair.com/culture/story/martha-moxleys-diary  What to Watch List: https://katecasey.substack.com  Patreon: http://www.patreon.com/katecasey  Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/katecaseyca  Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@itskatecasey?lang=en  Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/113157919338245  Amazon List: https://www.amazon.com/shop/katecasey  Twitter: https://twitter.com/katecasey See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
