Pacquiao: "THE FIGHT IS ON," Usyk Trains Joshua + Nakatani's SECRET Plan vs Inoue

Massive stories dropped today and we've got every detail. PACQUIAO: "THE FIGHT IS ON": After days of chaos, deadline drama and legal threats — Manny Pacquiao texted BoxingScene three words: "The fight is on." Floyd Mayweather has formally agreed the September 19 rematch at The Sphere in Las Vegas on Netflix will be a professional fight — putting his 50-0 record on the line for the first time in nine years. Pacquiao's message to Floyd: "You need to honor your commitment. This time, there's no reason for alibis or excuses." And in the coldest power move in boxing history — Pacquiao bought Mayweather's old Hollywood gym and is rebranding it "Pacquiao Prime Boxing." Floyd's face is coming off the wall. USYK IS TRAINING JOSHUA TO BEAT FURY: Oleksandr Usyk — the man who beat both Joshua and Fury twice — has welcomed AJ into his training camp in Spain. And he's given his verdict: "I think AJ will do it, beat my friend 'Greedy Belly.'" Usyk could even end up in Joshua's corner for the Fury fight. Hearn confirmed AJ has been in camp since August and never left. Meanwhile Hearn confirmed the Fury contract has been received — but Joshua wants a warm-up fight first, pushing the mega-fight to autumn at the earliest. INSIDE NAKATANI'S SECRET PLAN TO DETHRONE INOUE: May 2. Tokyo Dome. 55,000 fans. Two unbeaten champions — Naoya Inoue 32-0 vs Junto Nakatani 32-0 — for the undisputed junior featherweight title on DAZN. We got exclusive access to Nakatani's LA camp and trainer Rudy Hernandez had a BOMBSHELL: Sebastian Hernandez — the fighter who nearly upset Nakatani last December — was training with Inoue's team in Japan for a week before they got rid of him. Hernandez's take? "Maybe he was too damn good. Why take the risk?" We break down Nakatani's upgrades, his height and reach advantages, and exactly how he plans to become the first man to beat the best fighter on the planet. CHRIS BILLAM-SMITH SIGNS WITH ZUFFA — OPETAIA IS THE TARGET: The Gentleman confirmed his multi-fight, multi-year Zuffa deal to BoxingScene — and made no secret of what he wants: Jai Opetaia. Both men are now under the same promotional banner for the first time. CBS says if his career ended without fighting Opetaia he'd "always feel something was left on the table." A fight date and opponent could be announced THIS WEEK with a May or June return planned. Cruiserweight just got very interesting. 🔔 Subscribe and hit the bell — this sport never sleeps 👍 Like if you think Nakatani upsets Inoue on May 2 💬 Drop your take — does Joshua beat Fury with Usyk in his corner? #Boxing #Pacquiao #Mayweather #MayweatherPacquiao2 #AnthonyJoshua #TysonFury #FuryJoshua #Usyk #NaoyaInoue #Nakatani #InoueNakatani #BillmSmith #Opetaia #ZuffaBoxing #BoxingNews #BoxingPodcast Learn more about your ad choices. Mayweather DEADLINE, Ali’s Grandson vs Dana White, Fury SIGNED + Usyk vs Rico PREVIEW

Boxing's biggest day of news just dropped and we're breaking down EVERYTHING. MAYWEATHER vs PACQUIAO — REAL FIGHT OR NOTHING: Today is the deadline. End of business, April 14. Pacquiao's team has confirmed Floyd signed contracts, took cash advances and even took a LOAN against his purse — and now he's trying to call it an exhibition to protect his 50-0. Manny said it straight: "He's scared of losing." If Mayweather doesn't commit today, the September 19 fight at The Sphere in Las Vegas is dead — and he could face nine-figure damages. This story is happening RIGHT NOW. FURY HAS SIGNED — JOSHUA IS HOLDING IT UP: Frank Warren confirmed it post-fight at Tottenham — Tyson Fury has signed his side of the contract for the Battle of Britain. Fury's manager Spencer Brown says it's "100% happening this year." Netflix already posted it's done. But Eddie Hearn says no deal is signed, AJ won't commit publicly, and Warren admits no venue talks have even started yet. Is this real — or classic Fury theatre? DANA WHITE TRIED TO STEAL JOSHUA: Eddie Hearn revealed on the Cigar Talk podcast that Dana White called Anthony Joshua out of the blue trying to sign him to Zuffa Boxing. AJ sent Hearn a screenshot within SECONDS and told White "I'm not leaving Eddie — he's my guy." The kicker? Joshua is now a Matchroom shareholder. Dana got shut down clean. ALI'S GRANDSON vs DANA WHITE — THE BIGGEST POLITICAL FIGHT IN BOXING: Muhammad Ali's grandson Nico Ali Walsh has launched the Ali Act Preservation Alliance — 30+ boxing figures including Oscar De La Hoya and WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman — to stop TKO's Muhammad Ali American Boxing Revival Act. The bill already passed the House. If it passes the Senate and Trump signs it, Dana White could legally control a fighter's contracts, rankings AND title shots under one roof. Walsh says: "My grandfather fought for this to protect fighters from getting screwed over." The clock is ticking. SHAKUR STEVENSON CALLS OUT HANEY AND BENN — ON HIS TERMS: Fresh off destroying Teofimo Lopez, Shakur proposed a 144lb catchweight vs Haney — no belts needed. Then turned around and said he'd beat the holy s**t out of Conor Benn — and demanded the same rehydration clause Benn put on Eubank Jr. The most dangerous man in every conversation nobody wants to have. BIG FIGHT PREVIEW — USYK vs RICO VERHOEVEN: The undisputed heavyweight champion of the world takes on the greatest kickboxer alive. May 23 in Egypt. On paper it sounds like a mismatch — but Rico is 6'7", 265lbs, and has spent his entire career knocking people unconscious with his hands. We break down whether this is a legitimate threat to Usyk or the most dangerous payday fight ever made. PLUS: Frank Warren says Fury has signed — Joshua must decide. The welterweight division is on FIRE — Garcia, Benn, Haney and Stevenson all circling each other. Fury Beats Makhmudov & Demands Joshua, Benn-Garcia Trash Talk EXPLODES, DAZN+TNT Change Boxing

Boxing had one of its wildest weekends in years — and we're breaking down EVERYTHING you need to know. Tyson Fury returned from 16 months out and dominated Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in front of 60,000 fans on Netflix — then immediately called out Anthony Joshua who was sitting RINGSIDE. AJ responded. Netflix posted it's happening in the fall. Is Fury vs Joshua finally real this time? Conor Benn made his $15 million Zuffa Boxing debut — and it didn't go as planned. He won, but a past-his-prime Regis Prograis lasted the full 10 rounds. Eddie Hearn was spotted YAWNING at ringside. Prograis announced his retirement after the fight. And now? Benn called out WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia — who fired back, called him "Conor Bumm," and accepted the fight. Garcia vs Benn could be happening in September. We break down whether Benn can even make 147lbs. In Tokyo, Tenshin Nasukawa put on the most impressive performance of the weekend — stopping Hall of Fame-bound Juan Francisco Estrada in 9 rounds in a WBC bantamweight eliminator. The kickboxer-turned- boxer is now the mandatory challenger and on a collision course with Takuma Inoue. This kid is the real deal. We also cover the retirement of Regis Prograis, Vito Mielnicki Jr calling out the top middleweights after going 23-1, Hebert Conceicao surviving a knockdown to stay unbeaten at 11-0, Chris Billam-Smith signing a multi-fight deal with Dana White's Zuffa Boxing — and the MASSIVE news that DAZN and TNT Sports are launching "The Fight," a monthly boxing series on US linear television starting July 4.
