    122 - Vizantijske carice

But while humans remain fundamentally gullible, the tricks of the trade have changed. Today, Kate is Betwixt the Sheets with writer and successful poker player Maria Konnikova, who tells us how confidence games have developed, what the most successful ones have been, and what makes the perfect victim. *WARNING there are naughty words in this episode* Produced by Charlotte Long and Sophie Gee. John F. Kennedy: Myths vs Reality

John F. Kennedy was a man of charm, power, and contradictions. Behind the public image of the heroic president lay a figure plagued by pain, haunted by his past, and driven by desire. Dan is joined by esteemed biographer Randy Taraborelli to explore Kennedy's private life, delving into his turbulent marriage to Jackie, the domineering influence of his father, and the family secrets that shaped JFK as a president and as a man. Randy's new book is called JFK: Public, Private, Secret and reveals extraordinary insights into the most formative moments of Kennedy’s life from the people who knew him best. The Road to The Great War: The Lights Go Out (Part 6)

“The lamps are going out all over Europe, we shall not see them lit again in our lifetime” In the early days of August 1914, the British press has become increasingly vocal about the prospect of war breaking out amongst the great European powers. Who was Pupetta Maresca? And what did she do to become the first woman in Italy to be prohibited from having a funeral? In this episode, Kate chats to Barbie Latza Nadeau, a journalist and author who has lived in Italy since 1996, and who, to find out more about the women of the Italian mafia, actually went to meet some of them. We find out why these women are just as dangerous as their male counterparts, and how their roles have changed through history. *WARNING there are naughty words and discussions of crime and murder in this episode* Produced by Charlotte Long and Sophie Gee.
