A moment of madness? - Clara Harris

On July 24, 2002, Clara Harris confronted her husband David in a hotel parking lot over an extramarital affair, then struck and ran over him with her Mercedes sedan, killing him in an act of mariticide. That evening, Clara went to the Hilton Hotel in Nassau Bay, to confront her husband and reportedly attacked his mistress in the lobby. Hotel employees escorted Clara to her car. When David and his mistress came out of the hotel, Clara struck down her husband in the parking lot as her teenaged stepdaughter Lindsey sat in the passenger seat. On June 13, 1996, 18-year-old Angie Dodge was found murdered in her Idaho Falls apartment, having been raped and brutally killed. Christopher Tapp was arrested and convicted for the crime in 1998, based on a confession that many believe was coerced. Despite Tapp's conviction, DNA evidence from the crime scene did not match him, raising doubts about his guilt. The most famous missing person on YouTube - Lars Mittank

Lars Joachim Mittank is a German man who disappeared on 8 July 2014, near Varna Airport in Varna, Bulgaria. Mittank was vacationing at the Golden Sands resort, where he was supposedly involved in a fight, and was subsequently unable to fly home with his friends for health reasons. Mittank was documented acting strangely while alone in Bulgaria. He called home to his mother claiming that people were trying to kill him. On the day when he was supposed to fly home, Mittank went to the Varna Airport to consult with a doctor. He was later seen on airport security footage running out of the airport and towards an adjacent forest. He has never been seen since. The case has generated intense interest, and the frequency with which people viewed the footage of him fleeing the airport has led to him being named, the most famous missing person on YouTube. A Hollywood mystery - Bob Crane

In June 1978, Bob Crane, the star of the sixties sitcom Hogan's Heroes but now reduced to playing on the dinner-theater circuit, was found bludgeoned to death in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he was appearing in a run of Beginner's Luck. Bob was found by a co-star who had reportedly organised a lunch date with him, after discovering his lifeless body she runs out of the apartment for for help and so began a thirty year search for answers. Yuba County 5

The Yuba County Five were a group of young men from Yuba County, California in the United States, each with mild intellectual disabilities or psychiatric conditions. The boys were reported missing after attending a college basketball game at CSU, Chico (also known as Chico State), on the night of February 24, 1978. That night would lead to a large-scale search for the young men that would take months before there was a breakthrough. Eventually some of the boys were located and that would lead to far more questions than answers. The Lake Bodom murders

The Lake Bodom murders is one of the most infamous unsolved homicide cases in Finnish criminal history. On 5 June 1960, at Lake Bodom in Espoo, Uusimaa, Maila Björklund and Anja Mäki (both 15) and Seppo Boisman (18) were killed by stabbing and blunt-force trauma to their heads while sleeping inside a tent. The fourth, Nils Gustafsson, then aged 18, was found outside the tent with broken facial bones and stab wounds. Despite extensive investigations, the perpetrator was never identified and various theories on the killer's identity have been presented over the years. The bodies in the barn - Hinterkaifeck murders

The Hinterkaifeck murders occurred on the evening of 31 March 1922, when six inhabitants of a small Bavarian farmstead, located approximately 70 kilometres north of Munich, Germany, were murdered by an unknown assailant. The six victims were Andreas Gruber his wife Cäzilia Gruber, their daughter Viktoria Gabriel, Viktoria's children, Cäzilia, Josef and the maid, Maria Baumgartner. They were all found bludgeoned with a mattock. The perpetrator or perpetrators lived with the six victims for three days after they had killed them. During this time, they would eat the food in the house, feed the animals on the property, and start fires in the home's fireplace. The murders are considered one of the most gruesome and puzzling unsolved crimes in German history.
